Hi Guys! It's me the Papa doing coverage live @ High Cyber Cafe for IGC qualifier rounds final. As usual, I will try my best to do live commentary on the final match on mirc or here. So stay tuned for it.

The match between the new girls team dn*Gurls and Feeder Village has just ended. Winner of this match is Feeders Villages. However, the girls perform pretty well for their first official showing.

2. Pooling (Warning or Game Loss):

No pooling of any sort is allowed. This means that items bought with a player's own money cannot at any time be carried by any of his teamates. Items bought with the player's own money can only be carried or sold by him. This rule only applies to players on the same team. Players can pick up items dropped by their opponents.


if not for this rule we wont pass the aegies and let the MARSHAL DQed us. BTW AEGIES IS A ITEM DROPPED BY ROSHAN, NOT BOUGHT WITH PLAYERS' OWN GOLD. =)
it is not stated properly in their game rules so is like lol? PLUS the marshal were sitting behind us so is like lol? he didnt warned us or wad in a sense that he should give us a WARNING like "hey passing of aegies not allowed" aand we even said to each other can we pass the aegies? i said no no!! and 3 of my players sitting in front of the marshal look at the marshal STRAIGHT IN THE EYES and u noe wad he said? "oh i was looking at other games. come on lah 3 ppl 6 pairs of eyes not fake 1 dont treat us like a 3 yr old kid.

I believe this is the first tournament that runs 6.43b. So they didnt change it. But it is suppose to be that no items are supposed to be passed from one hero to another.

No offence t1gger. But I believe u shouldnt have taken the Aegis after u said "No!". Well, you can't blame the Marshal for not telling you right? Theoretically speaking, you dont see thieves expecting people to tell them when they are stealing, that their not suppose to steal.

Instead of your friends looking at the Marshal, you all should have called him. Asked him if you can pass the Aegis. Staring isn't exactly the best method.

Anyway just learn from it? Its over already, just get stronger than win them back in the next compy. ^^

officialy we lost the games but we are satisfied with our performances =)
after all the 1st compy to play 6.43b they should properly state the rules nicely =) hope they improve more next yr =)

im on tigger's side ! Bt realli lor the rules stated clearly items dat r BOUGHT and not dropped. Afterall aegis is an item dat was DROPPED not BOUGHT in 6.43b so deres no reason to be dqed ?!

shouldn't an official from RGN at least say something about revising the rules regarding the aegis drop before this saturday's grand finals? it would be much appreciated and prevent further conflict.

i feel that since the marshalls in rgn did not make themselves clear in the rules, they shld give t1gger's team the leeway. the rule clearly stated that

seeing the bold sentence, we already can see the rule does not infer that this rule does not infer to aegis.

I feel dqing was an inappropriate action to take. What could have been more fitting would be maybe allow the aegis to be transfered, but warn the team. If thats not possible because some way the rule applies to aegis, the marshalls could have compromised, and asked them to pass the aegis back to the initial hero that had it.

Coincidentally, I've just completed and published an article where Rapture Gaming Event Manager Lim Kuan Hoe responded to the criticism raised by the DotA community following the DQ.

Hope that this will help to clear the air for the community at large. He has said that the community has raised some points which have some merits. They "might" be looking into them.

I think that Brts were DQed for breaking a rule that didn’t existed. I agree that killing opponent's chicken and using the loot among themselves is the same case as passing ageis dropped by roshan. But its not breaking any rule (Any rule that is stated clearly btw). I do not think its fair for the team in question (Brts) to be on the losing end due to rgn's inept ability to state their rule.

The next thing I want to raise is that Mr. Lim mentioned that marshal’s was lenient at times. I presume he meant the attire (e.g. Slippers and singlet), correct me if I am wrong. It was make known to me that players in slippers was allowed to compete by the marshal. The rules did state about attire and the marshal have every right to disallow them from playing. But kudos to the marshal for being so flexible. Now here comes the question, if marshal allowed a player that fail to comply with the rules what integrity is there to the rules? Just how wide this grey area? What good is a rule if it’s not being followed and what good is the rule if it isn’t clear?

But fear not, there is always the rule that covers any loopholes up.

Marshal’s decision
Any decisions made by the game marshals will be the final decision. All participants are to respect the decisions made by game marshals or officials.
