Yo peepz! How did you guys sleep after the E2Max event?
Anyway, DotaSG decided to bring to you guys the final match since so many of you missed it.
After having a good game of Battlefield 2™ and Long John breakfast, I sat down with the Game Marshalls to see the final match's draft of heroes.
Hero Draft:
Mvp (Scourge)
Lich
Venomancer
Rhasta
Death Prophet
Shadow Fiend
sAc - Darkness (Sentinel)
Queen of Pain
Sniper
Earth Shaker
Crystal Maiden
Keeper of the Light
Once seated up and done setting up, the players started their match. I was watching it from the Mvp side actually. Everyone was crowding around...most people couldnt even keep their eyes half open, what more the players who have been playing the whole night through. HAHAx.
So...lets move on. The typical warding of the river areas were done, but this time, mvp's d.p. got caught by sAc's C.M. Getting a frost bite, lower the d.p.'s health down to half. Leading to the death of the d.p. by the Kotl and ES pretty fast.
Farming Lanes:
Top
Lich
Veno
C.M.
Q.O.P.
Middle
Shadow Fiend
Sniper
Bottom
Rhasta
D.P.
ES
Kotl
Nothin much went on. sAc was able to fight Mvp's Lich and Veno with their Cm and Qop. And Kotl and ES were able to handle the Rhasta and Dp too. But i think the Shadow Fiend was able to get a good farm against the sniper.
Guess everyone was tired...so both sides were making small mistakes here and there. A few rapings... hahax. A few kills. It was a pretty simple match.
After VERY much farming, GPS said, "hey guys...can we push mid? i'm getting tired." And so...they gave a fake push :p. SF - lvl 17, Veno & Dp & Lich - lvl 14, Rhasta - lvl 12. Gathering in the mid, the SF suddenly TP to the top lane and pushed the top. I was too engrossed in the mid lane push that i actually forgot about the SF on the top lane. With the help of the Dp, Mvp got down the second mid tower pretty fast...and killed the sniper, pushing sAc back into their base. All of a sudden, all the 4 mvp heros backed...then the screens were on the shadow fiend who had already gotten the top base tower down!!!
And guess what, all 4 heros started to move toward him. and with just a threads, yasha and sange and quarter staff, he took out all 4 heros. I was like WTF. then he simply downed the 2 barracks without any resistance.
With tat, it pretty much ended the game. They did it once again with the mid and bottom lane. Giving this time that the mid lane penetrating into the base instead. And that pretty much gave the GG signal.
So, as it is, Mvp wins again. And so they have been for the past few tournaments. Congrats Mvp.
As for me, I've got tests to study for man. Ha hax. So wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and study hard poly students for the coming tests and happy suffering the rest of u students. :D
