Warning System

Dear all,

We have put in place a warning system.

And as such, from the moment of this post, we will be viewing ALL posts as we can, and issuing warnings if we feel that the post is off-topic, insulting, or even if it doesnt make sense, etc. Thus, please do not post stuff that do not contribute to the topic, and do not create a topic that makes no sense for discussion.

Sadly, we will have to be strict about this, so that viewers do not have to go through 10+ pages/posts of rubbish in order to find what they want. Also, I hope that more competitive and knowledgable DotA players will come forward and post actively.

Notes:

Once you reach warning level 10, it will be an automatic BAN. It may be permanently, or for a period of time, according to the discretion of the staff.
Warnings may be reduced over time if the user has shown good forum etiquette after a period of observation.
You can view your own warning level @ your profile page.Cheers and post sensibly!

Dont have a set of rules compiled yet, but do read my post in here on what you shouldnt post, and more importantly, rules can only cover that much, and is always open to abuse. Thus, common sense is needed.

Good suggestion though, maybe sometime we will put up some "official rules".

lols, it's better to keep such comment to yourself =D but i kinda feel that it's much stricter now since the new system has been imposed so it's good in a way to prevent spammers/flamers but at the same time being too strict may cause forumers not being themselves. cheers

There are still alot of off-topic posts in quite a lot of threads .. Thanks for your good effort MOD. Can i know if we can appeal if we got warned for something or if we deleted the post, can our ban be gone as well?

Are there any other ways other than waiting to remove those warnings?
