Seems like the DotA drought is finally over with DotA tournaments popping up all over the place. Time to sharpen your rusty blades. Here is something interesting for our DotA community. Taken from GXL main site and the tournament site (http://www.gxleague.com/dota_mm/).

"The GXL is organizing a DOTA Mechmaster Tour, with qualifiers played at various Mechmaster outlets.

Over two days, one day at Mechmaster Boon Keng and one day at Mechmaster Tampines, teams will battle against each other until the final four teams of each day will proceed to the finals at Mechmaster Bukit Timah.

At the DOTA Mechmaster Tour finals itself, there are other events that gamers and spectators can participate in.

Prizes:
1st Place: S$1500
2nd Place: S$1000
3rd Place: S$500[/B]

· Void Stone
· Ancient Tango of Essifation
· Gem of Truesight

DOTA FFA for fun side event:
There will additionally be another fun DOTA event. The DOTA FFA competition will be taking place at Mechmaster Bukit Timah, 10th June 2007, 12 noon - 6pm:
- Random teams
- No teamwork
- The highest kills wins
- AP mode
- Teams that dropped out during the qualifiers are welcome to participate
- Players that did not register for the competition are welcome to participate
- Games are completely based on solo player's ability to kill and nothing else
- Prizes for the winners!

First bracket looks fierce with teams like mi2, zenith, xtc and micronology..
