Dota Lancraft Help

Will someone help me? I want to play dota through LAN but i can't. The problem is the lancraft. I use YAWLE (Yet Another Warcraft Lancraft Emulator) but when i paste the IP address in my emulator, the list won't appear. No slots, no game name, and the list won't appear in the LAN portion of my Frozen Throne. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? will the Frozen Throne version matter? my FT version is 1.20..

I will appreciate any suggestions.

yes the version matters.. patch it to 1.21a.. then try again

The version doesn't matter, as YAWLE will still detect the ip and show u the correct information. The biggest suspect should be your firewall blocking Yawle, or check if your activity buttons are blinking, if they're not flashing it's stuck already. Try other LAN emulators.

eh dude.. if de host.. is usin FT 1.21 version.. u cannot connect to the host if ur using FT 1.20...

so if ur using 1.20 basically u can only detect 1.20 hosted games..

and ya.. most games if not all games found in irc are hosted under FT1.21

I got the same problem. Since i reformatted comp, I don't have any problems with yawle. But sudden one shiny day, yawle stuck. I always have 1.21a. But still unable to detect local game. I left with no choice but to use the original lancraft emulator which sux @55
