Just dropping a note on behalf of VIRTUALAND (sorry for the last minute notice):

VIRTUALAND's new LAN at East Coast Park was just opened yesterday and we are having a 3 day promotion of FREEPLAY (valid 27 - 29 June). All 120 computers there carry Intel Core2 Quad processors and feature 22-inch Wide Screen LCDs

Located above Long Beach Restaurant and Burger King, we are also having a DOTA Competition this Saturday. Registration is done online. So if you play DOTA, please give us your support. Cash prizes and computer products to be won!

Update:

- 26 teams have signed up so far. We hope that it will reach 32 so we can hold a 32 man tourney

- Last minute addition (apologies!!!!) $10 per person for registration - but this is also inclusive of free membership to the East Coast LAN cybercafe with additional 5hour LAN playtime

- Up to $1000 cash prizes to be given to top teams, along with mother board, RAM etc.

- Tournament starts at 2pm.

shiks, dota tournaments are rather hot around this time. any competition that has good prizes and not-too-expensive registration fee will of course invite participants.

Yeah. Somehow the comps there are kinda laggy ~>.<~ I kept spiking in a online match. Horrrrible.... And the screens were huge.. Kinda too big for me.
