After the big event is over, Zenith is very kind to spare some time to give us this interesting interview. Fans out there, if you want do know more about your fan DotA team. Do not miss out this interview.

PaPa: Correct me if I am wrong. Usually Zenith does not need intense practice before competition. Is it any difference this time in WCG?
Ant: That period for us before wcg had some of us heavily involved in school-related stuff, plus Lux in army means we can't play much with him so even if we wanted to, intense practice wouldn't have been possible.
PaPa: So how bad these factor affect the team's performance?
Ant: Well... I don't think it affected it that much, i mean we might have done better with more practice. But we at least practiced a few times, which is sufficient.
PaPa: Yeah, I can understand, especially winning a close call match. So that for the interesting match part. How about the match against micro.
PaPa: Okay, so before the WCG, what was the innermost feeling of you guys?
Ant: Well... of course we wanted to win. We knew the teams we were going to have problems to face but it was the first time in a long time that we used the peak zenith team (i.e. Lux and Musica inside) so we were kinda looking forward to it. We actually aimed for ACG to play against other asian teams but oh well. T_T
PaPa: What kind of problem you all foreseen that time?
Ant: Not really problems as in we sort of knew from the start which teams would put up a difficult fight.
PaPa: So which are those teams in your "difficult fight" list?
Ant: Nova, Gachapon, GG-Alpha and mostly Micronology. I think we mamage to predict our brackets rather well except for the GG-Alpha and Gachapon fight which we were unsure about but in the end predicting brackets doesn't do much T_T.
PaPa So did you all did special research on all those teams?
Ant: We only could watch them as much as we could during WCG, couldn't do any watching prior to that. Micronology was the hardest one because out of all the teams stated they used the most varied drafts so we couldn't really see what heroes they liked or what play-styles they were better at.
PaPa: I see, kind of caught you all by surprised right? So any games which left deep impression during WCG?
Ant: Gachapon was quite unusual or special. Quite a tough game. I did n't play though.
PaPa Can share on how it was special from your point of view?
Ant: They drafted very very good late game heroes and managed to get them farmed. They also managed to pressure our raxes even when losing. oh and game against team spidy was especially interesting because tofu donated a reaver at 15 minutes to enemy Pugna.
PaPa: How tofu donated that reaver?
Ant: In our first match, chicken killed. More interesting is the thought of losing at the round of 32, T_T because Tofu's BB donated Pugna a reaver, adds to excitement i guess.
Lux: Tofu can't micro chicken.
Ant: Tofu can micro 1 unit!
PaPa: Lol. Okie, let's cont, so about the match with Gachapon , how was it interesting?
Lux: I think it was till mid game when they suddenly got all so farm-ed up and they tried to split push and fortunately down our bottom
PaPa: Why were they suddenly farmed up?
Lux: Because at that point QOP was hard to catch, FV too. As they were sticking together, whereas for razor having a boot of travel, he go around the whole map to farm and farm up a butterfly santanic.
PaPa: Wow, that's a shitload of power items.
Lux: Initially, our engagement are all winning, so at that point we know that they can't win us in engagement and they tried to split push. We have only 2 1vs1 type heroes, and Visage wasn't able to fight Razor and me the Enigma can't do anything except in engagement and catching.
Ant: Our lineup was Visage, BB, Enigma, Potm and Omni.
PaPa: With bottom lane down, what was it you all did to pull the game back.
Ant: Game was already in their favor, I think.
Lux: We got Visage to defend the bottom lane while the remaining 4 pushed and it was effective. I think replays are available, so i guess I would recommend people to watch it.
Lux: That's a good match I think so far, although we were winning but still we can feel the tension and pressure.
PaPa: Yeah, I can understand, especially winning a close call match. So that for the interesting match part. How about the match against micro. Lux: Frankly speaking, 1 sided to me.
Ant: Micro I think they did an early game draft and they owned early game. So yeah, nothing much to see.
Lux: The SF got seriously over-farmed and we got seriously over-leveled.
PaPa: Well, looking back is there actually a way to counter that?
Lux: Wrong hero pick I would say.
Ant: From downstage I think we played right into Micronology's hands, of course the draft itself was very bad for us but the play-style, it's like we did whatever they wanted us to do.
Lux: Yeah, they had the game controlled pretty early. I would say before 30mins period.
PaPa: Then let's talk about WCG this year, how was the experience. And comment about the event this year compare to last in all aspect?
Ant: Well first is we don't get to play foreign teams from the start so at first it kinda feels like just any normal sg tournament, I think this year wcg also was quite hurried. I dunno.
Lux: Kinda rush.
Ant: No time to eat. T_T
PaPa: As in because the schedule was packed?
Ant: I guess so, maybe the matches were longer. T_T
PaPa: Ah I see!!! How about the setup and atmosphere and off tournament activities?
Ant: Guitar hero! More guitar hero is always good but other than that didn't really try that many off tournament activities.
PaPa: So how about the T-shits?
Ant: Looks cool but I don't plan to wear it. LOL.
PaPa: Okay, so after this years WCG, what is Zenith directions/plans for the coming months and year of 2008?
Ant: No idea.
Lux: NS, NS and NS.
Ant: Can't think that far. But yeah. NS NS NS, EXAM EXAM, i've learnt from experience that it's not good to think any more than 3 months in advance. We'll just see it compy by compy.
PaPa: So outside gaming, what does zenith does together?
Ant: Eaat! Exclusively as Zenith, nothing much, but with the rest of the dota community there's lots of stuff to do. Eat, Movie and etc.
PaPa So who are the guys or other clan that you all usually hangs out with?
