So the question is what is your current game PC's. And what is the latest game which can run on it without any lag if you can.

Let me start.

Yep, it's an old rig.....hehehe. Still can run game like quake war, not bad I think. But maybe if newer game come out end of the year then I might need to upgrade my rig.

What imbal spec. I heard the game is eye candy but game play like shit for crysis. Have you tried bio shock, there is a demo. I do not dare to try, scared my comp cannot run. LoL.

firstly sorry for quoting some post that is so long ago, but he overclocks his stuffs. Overclocking makes ur hardware producing more heat, so to overclock it to something very imba, u need to have a uber cooling system or not your hardware wont last for more than a month. I clock my Intel D processor to 3.45ghz each. the heat sinker is enough for me.

EDIT: a little more explaination ;D. Like if u want to overclock ur processor to 150%, the heat of the processor will be like 70-80 degree ( for e.g) if u COULD OC it to about 200% which is 2 times the original speed. the temperature might be like 100 degrees ? able to boil water.

ram speed :400mhz
cpu spped :400x 8 =3.2ghz


ttry the lower voltage first if not increase ram voltage by +0.1v steps if cannot +0.1v again. i think 2.0v more stable.. welll usually i just set voltage to the highest acceptable voltage then i slowly decrease haha. get a small aftermarket cooler if u wan

my internet is oso singnet.I dunno why it tends to DC oftenly and i found out that whenever it rains the speed will go down by alot but sometimes it can be quite fast -_-

In my opinion, it doesnt matter whether if ur internet provider is Starhub or Singnet. Its really ur com specs dat is impt. If ur playing on a local svr, a 512kb broadband doesnt realli matters. Wad matters is ur com. Im using a singnet 1mbps (last time 512kbps) but it doesnt lags at all for local gaming. It realli is your com specs dat matters. And regarding dat singnet lag on starhub, its nt true animore.

Edit: and to add on, i have 3 coms using a 1gb connection. 1 mapling, 1 csing/dotaing and 1 researching for uni stuffs. It is oni at night when i start to feel the lag. In the morning and noon dere isnt lag. Hope to correct ur thinking of this lagness tingy ;)

Im using a singnet 1gb (last time 512kb) but it doesnt lags at all for local gaming. It realli is your com specs dat matters. And regarding dat singnet lag on starhub, its nt true animore.

basically the things that significantly affects your game play is the RAM and graphics card. for peer to peer games like in irc, it is best to connect to a host the same service provider as yourself to fully make use of the bandwich.

AMD processors have much lesser lifespan as it overheats more easily compared to Intel, but 1GB of Ram certainly rocks!
