This time DotaSG brings to you an exclusive interview of Team Sacrilege, who is one of the oldest clans playing version 6 Dota, and also very active in current local Dota competitions. They have came up as Top 3 teams for the recent competitions that they have joined.

Left to right (Novenics, DemonKing, Maki-, ^bOr|nG^, Sagara)
DotaSG : Firstly, thanks for agreeing to do an interview with DotaSG. Can you tell us more about the history of your team ?
DemonKing : No problem. Me, Novenics and Sagara were originally in the same clan called Aeons of Chaos (AoC) for 584c. Then Novenics and Sagara moved onto v6 when v6 came out while I played both. They formed a clan (the current Team Sacrilege)and I joined them when 584c tourneys were dead. I brought my 584c teams over as well.
|7ov3niCs : So the sAc now is basically a merger of a few clans.
DotaSG : I see... May I know your current lineup for the team?
DemonKing : Me, Novenics, ^bOr|nG^, Maki. The other team is Hengky, kw, Slyvana, fez. Both teams have the last player not confirmed yet.
DotaSG : I remember you guys used to have another 3rd team, what happened to them?
|7ov3niCs : Thats an inactive team, more like a temporary one, for a particular competition only.
DotaSG : Can you tell us more about why your previous co-leader Sagara is no longer in the team and DemonKing has taken over as position of leader?
|7ov3niCs : Sagara needed to concentrate on other stuffs, so he decided to leave the team. Somebody needed to takeover his position, and I feel DemonKing has a better leadership quality than me, so there goes our new leader.
DotaSG : DK did you have any problems converting to v6 like some 84c players?
DemonKing : Hmm not really problems, but you just have to get used to the changes like the change in animation of some heroes, the item changes, etc. Practice makes perfect.
DotaSG : Having been one of the longest clans in SG playing version 6, what do you think of the current competitive teams and which one is your toughest opponent ?
DemonKing : There have been more competitive teams around than compared to the past. Teams are getting better. Right now I think the toughest opponent is mVp.
DotaSG : mVp has 3 players from the previous "Tactics Sheet Abuser". Can you give us some comments on why they are on a winning streak?
DemonKing : Their drafting is good as well as their solo skills. Basically they harass opponents to let their farmer earn and harass the opponents’ farmers. They ward a lot, do a lot of pressuring and rarely lose lanes with their heroes. Their movement is good too.
DotaSG : In the e2max game vs mVp you guys were using Shadow Fiend while they were using Sniper. Do you feel that Sniper > SF ?
DemonKing : Yes of course. Sniper > SF
DotaSG : Anyway we heard that your darkness team might be going for the Malaysia competition, is it true?
DemonKing : I heard the Malaysia competition has some changes? That it might be postponed and change version. I’m not sure whether they will still be going
DotaSG : Have you guys looked into sponsorships for your team?
DemonKing : Hmm we haven’t approached any sponsors yet. Got kang tao? Rofl
DotaSG : Will keep you let you know if we come pass any ;). Btw have you guys played any non-SG teams before and how would you think they compare to SG teams in terms of tactics, skill and teamwork ?
DemonKing : Hmm Malaysia and Indonesia?
|7ov3niCs : Yup. Their tactics and playing styles are very different from SG teams.
Say AZR from indo. If I remember correctly, they used Zeus, Luna, ES. I’ve forgot the other two heroes but they are aiming for hero killers. ES blink in clear creeps, Luna blink in ultimate and Zeus to do the finishing. You don’t see SG teams doing this kind of tactic..... yeah?
DotaSG : I see... so do you feel they are effective vs SG teams ?
DemonKing : Not really. 584c too
|7ov3niCs : Yup i think so too....... maybe it will work on some SG teams
DemonKing : 584c if I’m not wrong, almost everyone play mass bucklers in Malaysia, and they play normal mode, no –AP.
|7ov3niCs : But most of the top Malaysian teams are still sticking with 584c...... so we don’t really have a chance to play with them.
DotaSG : Anyway we know that sAc is affiliated with Wecookgrass...can you tell us more about why the affiliation happened and how you got to know them ?
|7ov3niCs : lol DK can answer u this question, he is the best person for it ……*hint* priss *hint*
DemonKing : There was once when I was still playing 584c and we kept matching with Wecookgrass. They were quite friendly and Maki knows them. We got along with them well I guess that’s how the affiliation came.
DotaSG : So the affiliation is mainly about training? Or do you guys have more plans.
DemonKing : Friends I think, but we will play more games with them soon.
DotaSG : That’s cool. Anyway lastly, at the moment we are running our Dota 1v1 tournament while doing the interview. What do you think of 1v1 and any comments for DotaSG ?
DemonKing : I think the 1v1 tournament is still satisfactory. As for DotaSG, it has been active recently.
|7ov3niCs : Yeah and 1v1 Dota is definitely a great idea. It’s like normal Dota without the teamwork part and more emphasis on individual skills.
DotaSG : Thanks for your comments and time for the interview!
