There were some rumors about Ks being disbanded due to some internal issues. We managed to contact Ks-Xiaogui, the team leader and spokesperson of Ks to do a short exclusive interview with DotaSg.

DotaSg: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview. What is the current roster of Ks at the moment?
Ks`Xiaogui: Ks-Yamateh, Ks-Xiaogui, Ks-papaxiong, Ks-ice Ks-xiaoma , Ks-mikebz and Ks-Amaterasu
DotaSg: Ks-Amaterasu? Who is that?
Ks`Xiaogui: Ks-Amaterasu is a secret :p
DotaSg: There were rumors previously about Ks disbanding. How true is this?
Ks`Xiaogui: Previously there were some problems in the team, and we had some sponsorship issues, as we couldn’t look for a good sponsor in Malaysia. But now all is ok.
DotaSg: I see. Why couldn’t you guys get a sponsor in Malaysia? I understand that you guys are currently being sponsored by Kingsurf Cyber Café.
Ks`Xiaogui: In Malaysia, there isn’t much companies willing to sponsor gaming. Perhaps there are some out there, but we do not know. Currently, Kingsurf is the best sponsor that we have for now. However, they do not have much funding for us to send us overseas. They only sponsor us with free playing in their lan shops and cybercafés, and also they pay for our trips to attend competitions in Malaysia and Singapore and the registration fee.
DotaSg: So right now you guys are looking for a new sponsor. What criteria should the sponsor have?
Ks`Xiaogui: We are looking for a fixed basic salary, and some bonus if we win competitions, and also a company that can sponsor our overseas trips to take part in competitions in other countries. If the company can sponsor us with computers as well, that would be great.
DotaSg: Why didn’t you guys attend the upcoming Newspring tournament by DotaSg?
Ks`Xiaogui: Unfortunately, we are attending another competition on the same date in Malaysia :(
