Thread Diggers - I Just Hate Them

2 months 3 months 4 months 5months even threads up to half a year old are digged up. Digged up with 1 line short comments.

Im not sure whether he's a PCW but the only tink i know its annoying.

Well, actually a person is thread digging or not, we can easily tell.

A real thread digger will just add one line comment that do not contribute at all to the discussion of the old thread like "yes, I agree" , "cool", "hmm.....why?".

Someone who really wants to contribute to the discussion would usually goes beyond that and emphasis more on what he want to add to the discussion, not just one liner that goes no where. Good example will be the one post that is just above me.

Another traits of thread digger is at any one time posting in multiple old threads. Suddenly they will go on posting spree with one liners.

Usually these are some newbies who have lost post count, doing it trying to up the post counts. But sometimes some old birds do it also. I do not want to name them, but they know who they are.

So end of day please help to keep DotaSG a healthy and nice place for all do constructive discussions (don't know it's the how many million times I been saying this line).

Well , just as when I thought the forum gets more active suddenly , just old threads . . . I haven't start a thread here before anyways , dono wad to post .. only check out recently posted thread and join in .So I actually digged further in some moments . . . after they lay the foundation.

i agree with papa that treads digger are not wrong, but should not just post 1 sentence and run, they should make constructive COMMENT or idea on the treads itself , but sometime we just tend to give our supprt with 1 line sentence :D

this kinda thing only happen in small community thus there's no real way to define it and doesn't really stand that firm as a rule. Oh btw, we have no archive or do we?
Archive is good for thread locking while maintaining them

However, when things get out of hand we have to take action, maybe you can treat that as shock education as and when needed. Magically, it works wonder to deter and eliminate trouble maker.

For what's the difference of thread digging if you need clarification, kindly go back to a post I made here earlier. It's clear enough for everyone to understand.

As for both ruixiang and you, cool down.
