Poly laptops

Hi, is it possible to use the laptop from polys if ur nt a student from there? my bro is in SP now and i wonder if i can use his student card to get 1.. Looks good.. The high end notebooks there..

From what I know, I believe the SP roadshow has already ended. Therefore I believe you cant purchase any more laptops from SP though it is possible to purchase a laptop if you are using your brother's student card last month. To simplify everything, you cannot get any laptop from SP now.

Edit: I just went to check in the SP website. You can still order the laptop online or go to the vendor's office or other designated locations. However, I am not sure whether the offer will still be valid. Anyway you can check out the SP notebook website by going to www.sp.edu.sg/notebook.

You can go down and enquiry the fujitsu/acer hotline. But the SP admin sucks!!! so its best to go down str8 to their headquarters and enquiry. If i am not wrong the offer is still valid as long as u can produce the card. Best is that the owner of the card goes in person.

pretty sure you can get one from the respective poly as long as u have their student card

SP student here to verify.

get the acer or the HP high end. really worth the price for the specs. Now all poly laptop roadshow shuld have ended. so the imba prices im nt really sure if its still available.

u could always wait for the nxt PC show =)

Hmm.. HP 6700 series for the poly out of the stock the moment road show started 2 hrs.. Correct? Im so amazed.. Haha!

The HP high end ones are also worth the money.. Acer one.. Not tt bad. Any idea if the HP high end ones are gonna be sold in poly?

wad's good about poly laptop is the free software only :D. I think you should wait for another year so they release the new model, new acad year starting in march 09
