We have a mini-dota tournament played via lan. So you guys have to come here to register and play. This tournament is opened to all who is interested but please takes note of the venue where the competition is held. I'm one of the person in-charge to organize this tournament. Not afraid to tell u guys that the age of this group I am in organizing this tournament is 15 and above. Main objective is to gain experience and also with the experience hold more tournaments. The head of my group actually own a lan gamming place and happens to be a fan of dota also. Details of the tournament are as follow:

Game details:
Dota 6.37
-5 vs. 5
-AP

Prizes:
1st : S$1000
2nd : S$500
3rd : S$400

Max no. of teams:
50
5 players per team
2 substitution allowed (Substitution is only allowed before the match)
The 2 substitutions players need not pay any fee.

Registration:
First-come-first-serve registration
S$13 per player
Total S$40 per team
You will be required to fill up a form given by us along with the detail such as rules for competition.
End of registration is at 22/11/2006
The form and registration fee will have to given to us before 22/11/2006 to confirm your place in the competition, you have to come to the venue and hand it to the person operating the counter.
We will inform you of the date and time for the match.
The whole competition will roughly end in 3 weeks.
Please take note that all matches will be held at the above venue play via lan

After 22 nov we will arrange the match and will give a call to all team leader regarding the dates, they need to come and paticipate in the tournament.we will also tell all team leader when is the first match and if any team is interested to come down and have a look u may...... hope t see u there and enjoy the game thx......

The end for reg date is 22/11/2006. Give us a few days to arrange the team and to call up. Then the match will start. We will call u to come down if ur teams r fight on that day. If u hv trouble make it on time on that day or other porblems, u can tell us. We will try change the dates to the days u r free.

It will roughly end around 3 wks unless a lot of r changing the dates for their matches often... It really depends but we will keep the whole tournament duration as short as possible, maybe like 2-4 matches a day... that would spd up the pace

Just a small news to tell u guys... Erm... in late dec we might be working wif GRC in of 1 of the big public event hosting dota tournament. But now is just all talk, decesion still working out. So look forward to it. :P

last friday, the first day just started...my clan's first match went our great, owning them terribly before some weird backdooring tower/creeps rule came up.
we're almost disqualified for that :confused:
i was like 'WTF!?!?!' when i heard that such a rule existed.


2nd match was a pain in the ass...got some stiff competition but we managed to overpower them and gotten 2 rax lanes down while they only got 1 of our rax lane.
While waiting for our warlock to cd his refresher and ulti, and thus make our final push to end the game, the referee paused and saved the game.
suddenly 1 of their members comp hang and dc.
now we have to rmk eventhough its clear we could have won if they didnt dc.
very lame -.-


and btw, clan mi2 is at group b. while my clan is group a.

my clan's rematch went out with a blast~!
We 'WON' the match, owning clan reaper2.
We got 60+ kills, while they got 30+kills. Pushed till we break down their throne.
and guess what happened after that...
we got disqualified due to early game ACCIDENTAL bracer pooling. -.-
our warlock is making meka, lots of items and recipies droped and taken back. and he thought that the bracer at the base was his. So he took it...
but rules, are rules...its our fault anyways, we admit defeat
