Singapore - There's a report in Gamesync that mentioned that Phenic, the GM of Singapore Sword in CGS will be making the move to sue Tetra. According to what was earlier reported in one of our news (http://www.dotasg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2462), during the CGS Pan Asia Final, Tetra raised his hand to strike Phenic that lead to this situation now.
Quoted:
"GameSync understands that Singapore Sword General Manager Aaron "Phenic" Aw is currently planning to sue Wilson "Tetra" Chia for what he perceives to be slanderous comments made over the recent CGS slapping incident.
When told of this, Tetra said he had "no reaction really". He added that what he wrote or said was "all true" and there was no malicious intent behind his blog post.
"I didn't expect the response to be so overwhelming. I just wanted to let people know why I left the CGS," said Tetra. "My fans and supporters deserve to know."
However, it seems like there are more to it than meets the eye. Recently, a reply in Tetra's blog (http://tetrasg.wordpress.com) linking to a blog which belongs to another Sword member's girlfriend (http://mystiee.blogspot.com/) mentioning her take and account of the incident. As She was with the Sword during the trip and claim that there are things that public do not know about.
Quoted:
"Still at the topic of Tetra, I've heard some stuff that i'm embarrased about to type out, but i'd do it anyway.
As we all know, after Tetra was banned, there was alot of uproar with tons of people supporting Tetra.
Giving him words of encouragement.
Of course, there are those who (i bet they hate Tetra alot) totally agreed to the idea of having him permanently banned for a meer slap.
People like Off beat ninja (Haa!!! Just because he won you last year right!! Confirm super buay song right!!) or Berzerk (Hypocrit! Tetra poured his soul to you that night he was fired and you were talking behing his back right there in Wuhan! Don't think i never hear!! I WAS THERE!)
Because of the overwhelming response of unfair treatment from CGS, i've heard stuff that they considered doing to those who supported Tetra!
Don't say i'm bullshitting because again....I WAS THERE!! AND I HEARD IT ALL!!"
Now, we can see that the fight in virtual world has taken a life of it's own into the real world. Let's hope both parties can settle it in a peaceful way. End of the day, things like this is not going to help the gaming community. In fact it will cast a negative light on gaming which we seriously have enough share of do not need anymore of these.
Advice is matter what, no matter how angry you are how stress you are, in a civilise society we should not resort to violence to solve any problem. If you want to do something like that, you will never escape from the consequences you will have to bear. There are a lot of people watching you especially when you are famous, you are setting a bad example to those looking up to you.
So make love not war. Before you do anything violent, think twice of the repercussions.
