Singapore - There's a report in Gamesync that mentioned that Phenic, the GM of Singapore Sword in CGS will be making the move to sue Tetra. According to what was earlier reported in one of our news (http://www.dotasg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2462), during the CGS Pan Asia Final, Tetra raised his hand to strike Phenic that lead to this situation now.

Quoted:
"GameSync understands that Singapore Sword General Manager Aaron "Phenic" Aw is currently planning to sue Wilson "Tetra" Chia for what he perceives to be slanderous comments made over the recent CGS slapping incident.

When told of this, Tetra said he had "no reaction really". He added that what he wrote or said was "all true" and there was no malicious intent behind his blog post.

"I didn't expect the response to be so overwhelming. I just wanted to let people know why I left the CGS," said Tetra. "My fans and supporters deserve to know."

However, it seems like there are more to it than meets the eye. Recently, a reply in Tetra's blog (http://tetrasg.wordpress.com) linking to a blog which belongs to another Sword member's girlfriend (http://mystiee.blogspot.com/) mentioning her take and account of the incident. As She was with the Sword during the trip and claim that there are things that public do not know about.

Quoted:
"Still at the topic of Tetra, I've heard some stuff that i'm embarrased about to type out, but i'd do it anyway.
As we all know, after Tetra was banned, there was alot of uproar with tons of people supporting Tetra.
Giving him words of encouragement.
Of course, there are those who (i bet they hate Tetra alot) totally agreed to the idea of having him permanently banned for a meer slap.
People like Off beat ninja (Haa!!! Just because he won you last year right!! Confirm super buay song right!!) or Berzerk (Hypocrit! Tetra poured his soul to you that night he was fired and you were talking behing his back right there in Wuhan! Don't think i never hear!! I WAS THERE!)

Because of the overwhelming response of unfair treatment from CGS, i've heard stuff that they considered doing to those who supported Tetra!
Don't say i'm bullshitting because again....I WAS THERE!! AND I HEARD IT ALL!!"

Now, we can see that the fight in virtual world has taken a life of it's own into the real world. Let's hope both parties can settle it in a peaceful way. End of the day, things like this is not going to help the gaming community. In fact it will cast a negative light on gaming which we seriously have enough share of do not need anymore of these.

Advice is matter what, no matter how angry you are how stress you are, in a civilise society we should not resort to violence to solve any problem. If you want to do something like that, you will never escape from the consequences you will have to bear. There are a lot of people watching you especially when you are famous, you are setting a bad example to those looking up to you.

So make love not war. Before you do anything violent, think twice of the repercussions.

I think shes one of tetra's disciple and she was suppose to be the female player for DOA. but she was replaced by tt phenic's fiance. its damn funny that phenic wanted to fine those players that supports tetra lol. but imo if he were to sue tetra, he would win the case. cos its a fact that tetra assaulted him whatever the story behind it.

Actually i feel this is gonna be a tricky case.. It not only involves the gamers.. But also the pride of a country.. Imagine a player representing his country slapping his manager.

Note: I'm not on the manager's side. In fact, I'm on Tetra's side.. Its a fact that the manager doesn't know how to manage a team well.. Hopefully, but Tetra might be convicted of assault.. sigh..

Tetra, in my point of view, would never even bother to raise a finger to squish an ant, slapped for the first time in his life out of sheer anger.
By that, i guess its a whole load shit of anger stored in since the past 6 months, and he has reached his limits.
He was angry that Phenic has chosen Daphne (his fiance) as the DOA female instead of the rest of us girls who participated in the SG qualifiers.
I've been talking to Tetra abit since he's been teaching me DOA so i know exactly why he's been so upset.

Imagine him, a world champion for DOA teaching a noob (in his opinion of course) how to play the game better.
And noob stubbornly doesn't wana listen and insists on his/her own way of playing.
Noob doesn't practice, doesn't listen, doesn't give a shit about the rest of the team and noob was eventually chosen as player; despite the champ having trained other better potential disciples.
Noob, by the way, doesn't even attempt to approach champ to teach her how to play better, champ have to grit his teeth and go offer to train her lor.
Then noob's hubby still can turn around and say champ doesn't wana train her but train other gals....
How would the champ feel?

All that fury from 6 months ago transformed into a slap? Haa...
Be glad it wasn't a 9 hit combo ending with and izuna slam from the master himself!

I'm definitely on tetra's side...

I thought they are going to sue Tetra for his "slanderous comments" made on his blog? In this case if Tetra is able to support he said with evidence (eg. written agreement/acknowledgement from other Sword members) then the management probably would want to think twice before suing him.

If it's for the case of the slapping incident, then Tetra should only get a fine punishment, there shouldn't be any imprisonment punishment since the manager never suffered any major physical injuries. Tetra can also gain advantage by pleading guilty and apologise in court for his action. (That's if he willing to do so)
