Singapore - Zenith has become another heroic team after Impreza by winning a latest tournament and snatching the champion title from KS at a recent tournament. For a certain gloomy period, our local DotA teams seems to have lost their magic in winning the 1st position for some time. We were close but always falls at the last moment till facing KS or XcN. The drought lasted till recently where Impreza opens the flood gate.

"The second time we have ever won KS after 1 whole year…"
Here, we brought you an exclusive with our new champion, team Zenith.
Interview with Zenith
PaPa: Hi everyone. Congratulations on your recent win that helped to gain back our long lost national pride. How you guys felt after the recent win?
Mike: Thanks. We are pretty happy of course, at least we know we are back on track. However this competition is too small of one to be proud about.
PaPa: Why is it consider too small? Then what is consider big in your opinion?
Mike: In terms of scale its quite small, an example of a big one would be like ADC, regional or global ones.
PaPa: So any of these upcoming ones you guys are gunning for? And confident in grabbing the title?
True: eswc, capl
Mike: We gonna gun every competition of course, who doesn't. But tough fight.
PaPa: Who are you guys expecting that will give you a run for the money for upcoming mega tourney?
Mike: ks xcn~
PaPa: Any local ones?
Mike: None at the moment.
PaPa: Back to the recent tourney, before you all reach the final stages, did you guys expect to grab the 1st position? Especially with KS having a good run in earlier tournament?
Tofuboi: Well, we didn't think too much about getting first just wanted to concentrate on not screwing up our draft and playing well.
Mike: Thats about it.
PaPa: Now about Zenith, recently there are some recent discussion about Zenith now more like Micro with Tofu, how you guys feel about these discussion?
Tofuboi: We feel that zenith is a team, a team that aims to be the best and with players going out new players have to go in. It so happens that we felt(old members of zenith) that merging with micro could solve the problem of some of our players going into NS. Therefore hy and mike came over.
Mike: Be it micronology or zenith as our team name. All we know is we worked hard to be at our current status right now.
PaPa: Another thing that is actively discuss is about Tofu leaving and musica coming in. What was that about? Is that true?
Tofuboi: Well. What happened was the site got hacked. Case closed.
PaPa: Who do you suspect is the culprit?
Tofuboi: I think its nutz. It must be nutz!! He hates us, It's definitely nutz. <zEn|th`Dk> yes
PaPa: Being so long in DotA scene, what do you think of the current situation of sg DotA's scene? Have we improved or have we went downhill? And why so?
Tofuboi: DOWN HILL ALL THE WAY DOWN HILL. Honestly, currently I don't see anyone trying to hard enough improve or trying to train hard to par with oversea teams.
PaPa: What your advice for this situation to improve, what can be done?
Mike: I think local teams need to be more mature and serious about gaming. I think keeping together as a team is the first step in sg.
PaPa: Something off topic, recently there is news of pro player slapping the manager. Have you hear about it and what's your take on this type of situation.
hyhy: A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.
Mike: I dont really blame him actually, he probably put in lots of effort for the team. Maybe he just go really stressed during that time.
True: He is a nice and friendly guy, and I've been with him on wcg trip to Italy and shared bunk with him, didn't expected him to burst out. Guess he was under too much stress and pressure.
PaPa: But do you think it's right for a pro player to resort to violence to what he is put under?
Mike: It's still wrong of course. Might bring down the image of gaming, but once again it probably was a stressful period for him.
True: Everyone has a limit, and if their limit is breached, one might do rash/crazy things. However if a person is angry all the time, he may need anger management.
PaPa: So talking about these manager stuffs, who is the current manager/leader for Zenith?
Mike: Me. But external stuffs like overseas trip, Adrian from rapture manages these for us
True: On top of that , mike is learning hard how to control tofu from his random emotions.
PaPa: Do you want to use this chance to say/praise your team before we end today's interview?
Mike: You guys reading this interview watch out!! We gonna hunt you down.
True: Run or die.
PaPa: Thanks you guys for the interview, all the best to your upcoming tournament outings.
