Singnet VS Starhub

So far there are alot of people saying that if Host is singnet then starhub will lag, and vice versa. Is that really proven?

If need to host game, which isp is better?

Depends.

When we play matches we will always get a pacnet host (one of our teammates is using pacnet) so as to prevent other teams from complaining lag or spikes, not sure if it is true or not.

But I am on singnet, on some starhub hosts its smooth connection but on some, its totally laggy and spikey, couldnt even play.

no, not proven. i'm on singnet and i never lag on hub hosts unless they have really sucky connections. my friend who is a starhub user and hosts, i never lag.

It used to be the case abt 2 months ago? Now the lags n spikes are much better already. But pacnet is the unaffected 1. So find a pacnet game!

Hmm...as far as i know there was supposedly some problems with starhubs and singnets joining each other games resulting in lags but for me(starhub user), some singnet games were smooth for me while most others had lots of spikes which made it really boring and tiresome to play in lol

i have a recent problem as well when ever me or my friends host game (starhub host) and net friend or opp join we(starhub) players get the lag and its definitely killing us... after reseting our routers and modems a few times its still the same... sg is so small why dont the 2 internet service providers let gamers play in harmony?

When ever people argued about: Starhub rocks, Singnet sucks. No singnet rocks starhub sucks in game.. i will say "Shut up. Pacnet best." lol

But due to my 256-ram computer and 512 (But have 2 computers at home so sped divided... and i talk 256 only..) so i always lag and spikes... and my friend came my house to play dota... "NO! NO! NO! AHHHH!!!" he died. haha =x cause my screen hanged for more than 5 seconds and he stand there become free frag =x

personally i think starhub is better.. cause when you pronouce starhub.. you close your mouth after the word.. but when you pronouce singnet your mouth remains open after you say it

there is no such logic
blame it on your comp if you lag,not connection

there is only mininal lag ( <0.001s)between singnet and starhub.

If im not wrong,starhub get their bandwidth from singnet.so yeah.what sup with the different with starhub and singnet.

er... 3 years ago.. when dota just came out.. my clan was from us.. and we had ppl from europe Us and other places meeting at channels at Us east to play some inter bnet tournaments and no one faced delay at all =/ ..
now even our own country ppl also buay sai..
