International - Why it took so long for someone to come up with this idea. This is perfect example of simple solution for a big problem. Simply Brilliant.

Hate having to press item button on the numpad that is so far right. Hope you can tear it out and stick it to the left side of you keyboard so you can have gosu speed in activating your items for DotA. The Sidewinder keyboard that will be released around September by Microsoft will be the perfect keyboard we DotA gamers are looking for. No worry about drivers for special keyboard with special keys to bind anymore. With the Sidewinder X6 keyboard, just simply relocate the numpad from it's usual place, remove from right side and then stick it to the left side. As and when you happy, as and when you want. Viola!!

Of cause for a keyboard that is so cutting edge, there are also special features added like the couple of round knobs on top of it. At the moment no one is sure yet what they can do but it doesn't really matter anymore, don't we. The numpad's feature is more than enough to overshadow anymore bells and whistles.

Quoted from Gizmodo:
"Is Microsoft continuing their SideWinder brand revival—started with a mouse—with the release of a keyboard later this year? Perhaps, but this SideWinder X6 seems to be a pretty interesting keyboard in any case. It's got red (perhaps glowing?) keys, a detatchable num-pad, programmable buttons and TWO gigantic knobs on the right. We're thinking those knobs will be programmable as well, perhaps to cycle through your weapons or scroll through your iTunes playlist. We'll just have to wait until September to see whether or not this $79 keyboard really is the SideWinder."

If anyone from Microsoft sees this article, please send DotaSG a review set. I will love to do a reveal on it and do a gosu review article for it.

Meanwhile, geeky PaPa will be dreaming of this keyboard every night.

Logitech already has one something like this. The num pad is separate.. Hehe. But i didn't like it. Doesn't feel like a gaming keyboard.

Razer mouses the best still to me.

Think you meant keyboard in accordance to this thread?

Anyways, I've tried on my friend's Lycosa ( Razer of cuz ) using macros.. Numpad wherever you want, fret not. I even awed myself with the Invoker macro and cast 3 spells off ( it's a waste .. totally unneeded in that situation and hefty mana cost .. but tt's another story ) at XX level( when you can only conjure two spells :P 9 or 10? Anyways... Sometime technology is too good, the equipments made all the diff to empower players.. Yonex Nanotechnology for racquets etc.

Nah, not using Lycosa >_< Tested my friend's.

Of course I will get one if I had the chance but ... My table .. Not enough space for mousepad + keyboard.. ok , so placing my mousepad above the 'pull-out' thing ( lol I forgot the name! ) definitely sucked big time.. tiring. And my desktop only has 2 USB port .___. 1 for mouse and the other for my razer Piranha headlight le ( I light it up for fun... but even if i rule that out... I still cannot use Lycosa which need 2 USB port )

Currently keep using laptops to play using wireless and playing at my room and my router downstairs ( I live in a HDB 2-storey .. ) .. so the connections is not exactly great.. Guess some of us knw that wireless signals travels better at level ground than moving upwards or downwards.

Yeah , I'm in a dilemma... another plus for using laptop is that my siblings can use the desktop and I can continue with my games/projects. But the trade-off is lousier condition for connection.

The key depression of the kb is very thin right? I liked that..
