International - Why it took so long for someone to come up with this idea. This is perfect example of simple solution for a big problem. Simply Brilliant.
Hate having to press item button on the numpad that is so far right. Hope you can tear it out and stick it to the left side of you keyboard so you can have gosu speed in activating your items for DotA. The Sidewinder keyboard that will be released around September by Microsoft will be the perfect keyboard we DotA gamers are looking for. No worry about drivers for special keyboard with special keys to bind anymore. With the Sidewinder X6 keyboard, just simply relocate the numpad from it's usual place, remove from right side and then stick it to the left side. As and when you happy, as and when you want. Viola!!
Of cause for a keyboard that is so cutting edge, there are also special features added like the couple of round knobs on top of it. At the moment no one is sure yet what they can do but it doesn't really matter anymore, don't we. The numpad's feature is more than enough to overshadow anymore bells and whistles.
Quoted from Gizmodo:
"Is Microsoft continuing their SideWinder brand revival—started with a mouse—with the release of a keyboard later this year? Perhaps, but this SideWinder X6 seems to be a pretty interesting keyboard in any case. It's got red (perhaps glowing?) keys, a detatchable num-pad, programmable buttons and TWO gigantic knobs on the right. We're thinking those knobs will be programmable as well, perhaps to cycle through your weapons or scroll through your iTunes playlist. We'll just have to wait until September to see whether or not this $79 keyboard really is the SideWinder."
If anyone from Microsoft sees this article, please send DotaSG a review set. I will love to do a reveal on it and do a gosu review article for it.
Meanwhile, geeky PaPa will be dreaming of this keyboard every night.
