SummerFury is finally back. Finally after working day and night in our secret batcave, we have drawn up a new plan for SummerFury. Although it has been downsized, we are adding a new exciting feature which I am certain those serious in pro-gaming will be thirsty for more. The main event will happen on two Sundays, 31st August and 7th September at CYBERDOME cybercafe.

We will be implementing a new ranking system which will determine where you stand among fellow DotA gamers. DotaSG is proud to be the first officially to launch such a system locally, thus we are really looking forward to finally give local Dota gamers something that they can look forward with every steps in improvement that they took. So those of you interested to find out more, please, do not hesitate and register now to grab the currently 32 slots available. As previously planned we will have side events running alongside the main event.

So hurry up and sign up before all the slots are snapped up.

Note: Those that did not collect back your refund and had send in your reg form during July period, please use our private message system to notify DotaSG_PaPa. Please state your team name, team leader's name and contact number. Let us know if you need a slot so we will reserve the slot for you.

Well, to put everything short and easy to understand. Win more games, get more points.

A little more details explanation would be,

Same level wins Same level = gains average points.
Lower level wins Higher level = gains more points.
Higher level wins Lower level = gains less points.

It's a fair system which rewards to your currently level and the level you meet. It give a chance for the lower level to catch up the rank if they suddenly improves and manage to beat a higher level opponent. It will also prevent unfair advantage of higher level bully lower level. Thus the points will be more fairly distributed.

As for the rest, it's secret, if reveal to you then I will have to silence you. LoL.

We see how the respond is like. There are already 12 paid confirmed teams, plus a couple more that booked slots and not confirmed (but making payment soon).

During this season there are many event on similar date after we have announced our event but I am sure many of you know DotaSG always give our all in our event from execution and coverage. So please give us your continual support and faith.

This time we even went far (lots of brain juice lost from me and my tournament team) to work our a ranking system trying to give participants a way to gauge their playing level. This will carry on for future events by us thus I can ensure you it will be fun and exciting to see your point fluctuate on your games performance. More exciting than stock market (maybe...lol).

So send us your reg form by email to DotaSG_Admin@hotmail.com to book a slot then make payment at CyberDome to confirm it. Or can hand in form and pay at same time to CyberDome to confirm the slot.

Do it before this Friday to enjoy lower rate of $55. Those that taking sweet time to decide after this Friday when making payment will pay full rate of $60. Registration closes next Friday.

Side event for spectators and those who got knocked off early (cross fingers). There will be 1v1 Dota competition (reg on the spot) with prizes. Join in the fun to find out more.
