Warlock imba ?

Anyone has the same feeling as i do ?

I mean.. his 2nd skill is = Doom damage except it doesnt have the silence.
his skills cant be dispelled by heros like Naga who can image off ultimates of heros like Veno. Does this mean even an ultimate cant be compared to a mere 2nd spell of Warlock ?

Anyone knows any counter ? The c/d is also pretty fast for a damage/healing spell this strong

you mean mirror image cannot dispel the 2nd skill? but it will make things obvious as to which is the real naga and which is the illusion. or did he cast a 2nd time on the real one?

a counter i know of is lord of abbadon. when the warlock uses the skill, use apothetic shield.

lol.. i remembering starting a thread about this which eventually leads to warlock being feared. seriously, if u face warlock try and withstand him till mid late game. but for early game. i think the only ppl that can solo lane wif him is , bane and Lord oF avernus.

he can. a good bane can. for loa i think he have to keep casting aphotic so as to dmg warlock and result warlock in healing himself and not having an opportunity to dmg the loa.

ya i feel that some of the spells needs to be nerfed. i mean.. he has a pretty powerful ulti for pushing. a 2nd skill that > doom in a way because its c/d is much faster

The skill is nerfed in 638 rite? Diffusal is alw a good choice but once the warlock gets refresher den its kinda hard to take out 2 golems unless u got 2 diffusals.

2 golem + 1 purge = 1 golem

1 golem + 1 purge = nth....

no golem + no purge = boring
2 golem + 2 purge = happy purger shopping time

Diffusal and purge doesnt pwn golem actually.... i tried purging golem at lvl 1 and ya it damages it ALOT. but once its lvl 3 purge doesnt do that much damage. I tried purging and only manage to reduce its hp to 3/4 full or even more.

Not to forget purge could be used to slow down other potential threatening heros or those trying to escape...

im nt sure if Medusa's purge damage = Diffusal purge damage to summoned units. but meds purge doesnt 1 hit ko inferno.. even at lvl 1 i tink u need to purge 2 times.

I think bane (a good one) would be able to handle a warlock relatively easy..... Brain sap for life if needed, and if needed, nightmare the inferno....

i think best is to use silencer.. once he cast that you cast on him.. then he minus hp while he heal then his mana also minus..

Medusa Purge definitely do not kill the golem wif 1 purge. Take quite a few. But diffusal can kill it wif 1 hit

Obsidian destroyer can destroy his infernal in a few hit. Also, diffusal blade owns infernals hard. A warlock without his infernal should be easy to kill.

Ya...useless like shit, as I pointed out earlier...now its not much use except for the infernal and healing shadow word.

Warlock is not as strong as before,but definitely is still a powerhouse if enemy decide to let him farm a refresher.

Also,many had mentioned the use of diffusal blade.As a point of information,i would like to add in that it is expensive and is hardly useful to many teamplay hero and thus,it would be waste for many to go out of the normal core build and choose diffusal blade as to counter infernal. The result,you end up having a hero with just diffusal.

Strong early game lane control mean not many could outfarm him early.
You only can have heroes like THD,zeus... to control him,but it hard to actually outfarm and send him home for healing
Early Mid game when he start to use infernal for mega aoe stunning and pushing.
Mid game is when refresher is up.
From mid game onward,warlock job is to mainly support the team.(Ulti+channeling of upheaval completely destroy opposite fighting ability)
Not to mention if he have bkb on.

Warlock have obviously become weaker.But with decent skills and strong teamwork,it possible to play warlock as a strong supporter and win the game.
Of course,the possibilities to counter warlock is always available.

Refresher Lock still very strong but now because of the nerf opens up more hero options that can take him in the middle lane showdown. The aoe immolation and fatal bonds are still very shiok though, so I think he is still a great pick for draft match.

walock is imba if u buy lothars, can shadow word enemy and they never see it coming(if u ww) coz its a "SHADOW" word!

It aint really imba, many heroes can counter it.. str heroes late game, disablers,
NA,AM all can kill warlock quite easily.
