International - With the World of Warcraft gaming project fast establishing itself as one of the greatest MMORPGs of all time, as well as a competitive e-sport in international competitions amongst famous gaming squads like SK-gaming, MyM, a little insight from their latest expansion wouldn't possibly hurt. Today we bring you a little sneak peek into the newest character class, the Death Knight.

While i may not be a WoW enthusiast myself, i believe there are many out there who do, even amongst our local gamers. For those who aren't perhaps this article will get you interested & captivated enough in the game to start playing it. Thus i decided to take some time out to compile this small report of the Death Knight for everyone's eyes.

The official beta-testing has started, and apparently many fans of the classic have signed up to be a part of it. From what i gather of it, i know of a few thigns that are set to come in this forthcoming expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.

Basically as a Death Knight in the infinite universe, u start in a zone of death titled Acherus: The Ebon Hold, and awaken in front of the enigmatic Lich King himself. Your first task is to learn Runeforging and the first few-tasks are mostly interactive, meaning u get free experience for talking to NPCs and the like. You can obtain up to 16000 experience per quest, which is to be honest quite generous as Blizzard probably desired a surging of levels for the new takers of the Death knight.

For the build-up of the location, Blizzard's tactful use of how the Death Knights infiltrate and the NPCs move across the battlefield really makes the whole concept seem very alive and a crowded, bustling place. To balance out, besides the NP's moving, you are unable to see players who are at higher levels of achievement than your own. For example a level 58 Death Knight just finishing the starting zone will be unable to see the level 55 Death Knights who are just starting. This significantly reduces traffic levels in the gamer's eyes and perhaps may provide a more coherent experience as they are only allowed to accquaint with those of the same standards.

There is one particular striking event that stands out above the rest, once you've finished all the quests in New Avalon; where the final strike against the Scarlet Crusade is launched, an attack on Light’s Hope Chapel. The reason being so because you get to see famaliar faces from the Warcraft Lore. You get to witness fights between the Lich King and other characters like Highlord Darion Mograine, while The Ashbringer and a family moment between The Ashbringer and Darion Mograine unites. The Lich King does suffer a defeat at the hands of Highlord Tirion Fordring and as always, vows to meet again on unearthly sanctuary. What this event does is to show us the level of interaction and inter-personal relationships between characters of the Warcraft universe that Blizzard would hope to achieve.

Stumbling upon the riches of the Death Knight is a fascinating and enthralling experience that any good gamer would relish. The good news is, for fans of the upcoming MMORPG classic your wait is nearly over. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion looks set to arrive before Starcraft 2 is released, with Blizzard focussing all their attention and priority in developing the game to its fullest potential, so much so it is their most important priority now they are committed to finishing before all other projects. Although the actual release date is yet to be confirmed, you can bet on it arriving in the early 1st quarter of next year. Wrath of the Lich King promises to be an infinite world filled with infinite possibilities, awaiting you to explore. The question is, will you choose to be an integral part of the Death Knight rebellion?

Nice WOTLK info! But i think you should quote sk gaming as a source since this article had most of the information from the article on the website just with a little paraphrasing. No offence. just trying to highlight it. Cheers :)

What you've said is true, but as long as it is paraphrased, there is no need to source it. Note that i did include credits to pictures from Sk though. Thanks anyway for ur input, will take note.
