Why are there not much -ar games hosted by SG?

for friendly inhouse, it's ok..cuz win or lose doesn't matter..
but for matches or even just pub games, it's too much based on LUCK..

cause all don't want kenna the hero they dono how to use.

to me, ar's for those bored people who don't really know what hero to choose. apprently most singaporeans know what to choose for their own reasons(like training the hero) etc. so yeah.

AR is not newbie friendly.
Its good to start with AP first.
But its quite surprising that there's not many SG ppl wanting to play in AR games as compared to the American for eg.
Surely there will be experience players around since dota is not actually a new game?

-random is good for players to get to know more *um-compy* heros.
from my view, it's better to know something about every hero. good when u're against these weird heros.

They don't play -ar because most people are scared that they may get a hero that they suck with. -ar is usually played by very experienced players who know how to use every hero.

actually almost everyhero can be gosu if used properly. no such thing as useless hero. -random is fun lol. for public games.

ar does depend on some luck.
if u get a team of stunner vs a team of non stunner, the outcome is usually quite clear at the beginning.

The reason why people dont like to play ap is probably the same reason why most people leave.. they just want to 'own' with ownage heroes and not lose..but then sometimes they still type -random in ap games. Ironic

Well, -ap games are more common because they give people 2 choices, either pick a hero, or random one. Whereas in a -ar game, you can only get a random hero and repick.

-ar is more often used for inhouse matches bah, when you know that there is the possibility that your friends would pick the imba heroes. allrandom evens it all out.

actually i think sometime it is good to host ar games. Most beginner will not join so that it will be a gg. Make sure the AR mode in Game Name is big enough for them to see before joining.
