Tomo on Communication Skills!

This is yet another Tomo's production.
I am here to share the bit of knowledge regarding communication barrier that I learnt in my communication module.
A sender is a person who sends the information/message - e.g. a person talking to a friend in social life.
A receiver is the person who receives the message/information - e.g. students in a classroom/lecture setting.
1 of the most fatal type of communication barrier that causes conflict is Distortion (misinterpreting the message by receiver). Facial expression, tones, gestures, posture, body position of the sender, will influence the decoding of message of the receiver. No doubt, many quarrels are created from such little misinterpretation. The receiver could actually listen to the sender's explanation fully instead of assuming his intention. People often see and interpret the same message in a different way owing to their differences in experiences, attitudes, values, opinions and background. This is a video showed by my lecturer too, lets see how you interpret the message from the video before the message is fully transmitted. I think the video is pretty cool.

Distortion will also occur among Dota teams. Be nice to your mates and listen to their suggestions/opinions before asking them to shut up. Thats all for today's Tomo on Communication skills =). Do support my future articles too.
Add on : If communication among teams could be carried out in a peaceful manner, conflicts after suffering lost could be minimised. When teamates make mistake, use proper tone to tell them their mistakes. The one who made mistakes must also apologize and show feedback that he has noticed the error he made. This is the way that the team can improve and advance to higher level of gameplay.
Feel free to share with us if you have such problems in your team, we are all here to share your burdens and find a solution for you.
