what level should we stop farming and start ganking/pushing?

Pls share your thoughts on different heros, normally i think the base line is about level 11? becuase if u leave farming mide and go into ganking mode too early u'll lose exp.

no, when I play with my team I start pushing and ganking at level one.
You see, We can rax in 5 minutes, so it's worth pushing at level one.
And also, you can have say 3 in a lane or something, and then gank him straight away. Because all heroes are more or less equal at level 1, then 3 on 1...no need say. Some can do a triple stun combo. These 3 on 1 tactics at the start can get first blood very efficiently, especially with heroes like rhasta or furion...Sprout/ Shackles.

The gay tact I usually do with my friends at lvl 1...
I sprout, both of us whack him.
Then after 2 seconds, he shackles.
I whack. First blood liao.

You won't lose exp. The kill is worth to cover your lost exp.

Everybody has different levels i guess... every game i play is different. sometimes we push as late as level 14 or as early as lv 5.

ermm 3 in a lane, is it a good idea ? if the enemy knows u got 3, he'd probably stand back out of the 700? range of sprout and shackle, and just get exp. he'd probably be a few levels higher then u wouldnt he ?

Ganking always happens as early as lvls 4 -5. Pushing though, mainly depends on what heroes your team has. If you have a few pushers in the same team, you guys can probably push really fast and win easily. Early level heroes are less apt to be able to defend a mass push. The creeps alone can overpower your enemies.

Time : 0.40 min...
In the middle lane one druid with bear, pugna, death prophet chiong tower...dots the tower nearly die..creeps havent even come out...
Then when they keep trying to down the tower, our focus on the tower...so techies sneak behind us(in the middle of 1st and 2nd tower) and plant some mines...so when they down tower, we run back, step on mines, all die.
Then they push..Cheap method. The gay thing is, when our creep wave come, Pugna netherblast, prophet swarm. ALL CREEPS DIE!

B.net most probably wont agree to 3 in one lane. But if you have a proper team who can teamwork very well, 3 in one lane is an ownage idea. And you can give the other two heroes like chen, lich, zeus solo, because they need their ultimate ASAP.

KCobain is right. Nukes are best used at level 3. This is the time when the nukes overpower the heroe's health by alot.

ok just an hour ago i lost a pub game to this clan that end game in 20+ mins.they had furion, chen, enigma, syllabear and warlock.from lvl 1 they just summon and push mid.1st wave 1st tower down.at 10 mins they were raxxing, than go back 2 buy mekansm, 2 buy necromicon.24 mins = gg.wtf man.

ermm use pugna ?spam nether blast, or use other AOE damge heros i guess. I reckon that the new map in which towers do not heals promotes pushing early. Thus pushing heros like warlock and furion seem to have the upper hand in this version.

for me i think it's up to the opponent you're facing and the current status of your team.
are they underleveled? how would you end up if there were big clashes? will you die in these clashes? are your items good enough? something like that. there's many more factors and all of these should be gained through first hand experiences.
sometimes catching is a good alternative as well.
and in addition, it's just like what KCobain said. some drafts are made to push early. like bear, furion and visage. so yeah.
i'd say play more matches, gain more experience. it's ok to lose as you expose yourself and your team to many different strategies and stituation until u would be able to make right decsions at right times.
and then u'll attain the state of...gosuness.

But of cos there a limit. Its better to farm than to hunt though. But it all depends.

Depends. Don't limit yourself. Its always when everything fits nicely which can vary from game to game. It could start before first creep wave, or it could be at say starting level 5. I think if you are a lane hopper a level 2 or 3 should be enough.
