Maphacks

I believe everyone of us here would encounter a game or two being labelled a maphacker.

It is utterly irritating when you are being accused.
Worst still when you got 'Kicked' during in-game or blacklisted in their Banlist.
OR you can feel flattered by your own 'pro-ness'. I try to choose the latter.

This thread is for you similar peeps to air your grievances and frustations..

I'II start with mine. Had a game yesterday as clinkz in Scourage. Opponents were telling us to off our maphacks. On my team, I presume there were 1 or 2having maphacks on and my teamates were saying they are using maphacks. But I just play my game and kept quiet most of the time. Accusations flew fast and furious till the end of the game won by Scourage. Fine. That's it. On to the next dota game. I join the Host's 2nd game and I saw this line.. "Cambiere is on banlist for being a maphacker 22/11/06 Lorderon" sumthing sumthing.. *kicked out*... I was like WTF?

Replays are always best teams, best wins, good strategies, fastest game won/end.. Well, maphack games proved to be very entertaining too...

okay. i am sick of tired and telling those out there. stop posting ppl who maphacks. can ?? and so what if u are being banned ? if u noe u have done something wif ur conscience clear and u noe ur skill is good . nothing would influence ur thinkings

That's right Dominic. I'm sick and tired but why shldnt pple post about it? There are so many similar threads out there too, so it is just a matter of personal preferance whether you like this thread or see it as a sore. I created this thread with the purpose of consolidating all maphacks posts otherwise like what you mentioned, maphacks posts all over the place.

Besides as I mentioned again, it is also another form of opinion pple looking at maphacks. Not just frustrating but can be of entertainment value especially when seeing pple beating the butt out of maphackers. Yes, I dont really care but if you entered into another person's game and you got kicked because you got a 'bad' history how would you feel? If they were all using the same banlist checks, you are basically banned from all games. My thinking is positive but what about others?

So dont come in here and tell me you are sick and tired of these kinda threads. You can't bare with the fact then stay out of it. Either way, the choice is yours.

Not to forget, thanks for this honest reply. At least this is something out of the many views on this thread. :)

Mhers are very common on Bnet. There is nothing anybody can do about it BUT beat them in the game! Zomg Mhers and still lose? Sad lehzz... Den u emerge victorious. Even if u lose? Zomg Mhers... Cant beat me without it? Both ways ur conscience is clear. DONT MH FTW!!!!

i agree with hahaudied, i got annoyed by a weaver recently.
but oh well, pub is pub, game is game.
i was using bone and he weaver, as we all know, bone relase the arrow animation very slow,b4 my bone appear, he shukucuci liao .. the ww la .. than i go take bottom rune, while from bottom lane going there .. he from mid there want take rune, before i reach rune, around the turn there, about 20degree there, than he at the cliff, he ww just to come atk me. coincidence ? i think not (:
