Looking for 3 Pros or existing teams that need players who are interested in forming a new team for competition. Preferably not Singnet as our isp is Starhub.

What i mean by a pro would be someone with very good basic skills of denying/farming. I feel that teamwork can be trained but individual skills cant. So, i would need all interested people to have at least good experience in soloing a lane. (eg. qop farming out linken+skadi within 40mins, warlock getting refresher in 17 mins) (Note: Statistics taken from pub games, may vary under different circumstances)

Therefore, please submit a replay of yourself in a pub/draft match as proof of ur skill and i shall watch it on my free time. After that, i will then proceed to contact you if you are up to expectations.(Note: It doesnt have to be top solo heroes like viper/warlock, similarly u dont have alone on the lane, i judge the skills by ur effort to try and deny or farm last hit at every opportunity, the pressure u give ur opponent in preventing him from farming etc..)

Now, for a brief introduction, me and my friend has been participating in competitive dota for almost a year. However, due to numerous reasons, our former teams did not work out as expected which is why now we have decided to find new teammates and achieve better results.

Lastly, with respect to training times, we will be free mostly after 8pm on weekdays as well as whole of weekends if we are available at home.

PS: For those that think our skills might not be comparable to yours and it would be a waste of time for you to join, feel free to find me and we can discuss this through either us playing together or me sending you a replay. However, in view of the fact that i made the post first, please send a replay of yours first before demanding such requests.

The reason i did not paste a replay first was because i figured that people might dislike watching replays and i figured if i watch their replay first, im saving them time instead of making them watch mine first.

To Mephisto: Sorry, due to unforseen circumstances, my cpu will be down till this weekend. However, i did ask my frd to help take a look at your replay, but his reply was that even though the map was under 6.38b, it was on a different format and he could not open the replay to watch. I will try personally try it when i got my com back so please be patient. In the meantime, feel free to add me on msn if you have queries and also if you know where the problem lies, kindly resend a new replay. Thanks.

To mcnuggets: Im sure that if you are in the least bit active, you would have played a dota pub/draft at least once a week or more, so please just take the extra effort to save the replay and send it. It does not have to be any specific hero, so u do not need to purposely choose a hero to make a replay.

Forgive me for being kay poh, but I just wanted to point to you that that error is a pretty common one among people sharing replays.

The folder where the originator keeps his 6.38b file is Maps/Download/dota/~name, but your friend, and most of us, have it stored in Maps/Download/~name of the WC3 folder.

What your friend can do to remedy this problem is to copy his file of 6.38b, create a new empty folder named 'dota' in his Maps/Download folder, and paste it there. The replay should work fine after that if the originator did not change the name of the 6.38b file (which from the screenshot I assume he hasn't).

Yes Madeener has pointed out the answer..
Most people have their dota under Maps/Download/Dota Allstars v6.38b
But i.. being extra decided to organise my Map/Download folder so when i look for games to create i can str8 away find it lol..
Hence i created the folder Maps/Download/dota/

So the solution is create a new folder in the download folder
Rename it dota
Paste the 6.38b version in it
Should work now

To Mephisto: I saw your replay a few moments ago. Apparently in terms of soloing, it was evident that u lack last hitting skills. Through the replay u did not attempt to hit a creep only just by the last hit but was casually hitting it from full hp, only stopping at the last moment to aim to try and get gold, thus making urself at higher risk as creeps are always at the opponent side of the hill. Therefore, i feel that there is much to be improved.

Ok, due to further unforseen circumstances, my playing cpu was down since last week. Hopefully, all things should be fixed by this weekend and trainings for a test team will start.

However, to those 2 new post that recently posted, im not sure about greatho but for carrot, ur description says you play support. Currently i have 2 people who prefer and play better at support compared to solo as well. So, i seriously need all new visitors to be able to play good soloing.(Unless u can support so well that it beats my current players)

If you micro properly sure can de...linken is choice item because it also adds stats qop needs and you need regen...

Qop cannot afford to get stunned sometimes...example you fighting doom/viper(actually no qop would be stupid enough to engage)..then you can shield viper's ulti and one lvl? death or doom(from careless player)..

Ya Crimson, linken's sphere is a great item for Qop especially in draft. Can tong the stuns to run away. And it can be sold later in the game also if you feel like changing it for something to improve damage.
