back like 5 years ago.. runescape was hella fun(of course until Renewal WAEI)
gameplay was nice.. not just hack and slash.. can fish&cook/mine&smith/mine&craft and many other combos which made the game for me very interesting(dint get bored very much cuz i had frens playing with me)
hah also the pk system... the prayer monk die also dun care lol.. just put on priest robe and rune2handed.. die u lose priest robe which u get free and u keep the r2h cuz of protect item skill hehe

now.. the new "3D" system of rs is just bs -.-

Now WoW imba graphics but it didnt turn me on since it was like SOO huge and my friends never play those expensive mmorpgs >.< Summore now the mmorpg scene has been milked dry. Blizzard need to know that they should start making Warcraft4!

personally.. i think mmorpgs have really become boring, basically most try their best to copy WoW.. and in this attempt, the game turns out very boring in terms of not having anything unique.
IMO games worth playing include
1)Runescape(this was before the new interface came out) because of the many activites you get to do in this game..very good for starting out and this was my first mmorpg. The graphics were the only thing that was lacking but this was like 5 years ago so i was not exposed to astounding graphics so it was okay.
2)Renewal(i believe my 2nd mmorpg). Moved on to this game just cuz my friends played it.. quite cool at that time still and my friend payed for the account so i was happy :D.. cool stuff with the crafters taking out their futuristic stand-tables and just processing raw materials lol.. that was probably the thing that made me thought it was cool :P i just dun really like hack and slash much as it gets boring...
3)D2LoD-If you haven't tried this out, you miss out on a great rpg :D Cool story, cool classes.. what brought my interest was the different variation of different classes for PvP so for this game.. its the PvP

Yes, but as far as I know, Blizzard is rather obsessed with the MMORPG scene, and (most probably) Diablo MMORPG will be coming out, according to news from a trusted source.

Also, Blizzard had said that Starcraft Ghost was delayed, and they will be finishing it. Some guy said warcraft IV will not be out anytime, but defintely Starcraft II(not sure, most probably)and Starcraft Ghost will be out.

and yes diablo 2 rox.. diablo(one) was actually the original game that invented many features that are now used in many games and is the base template of most rpg games out there especially runescape and ragnarok online.

yes d2 rocks hard... didnt like mf-ing(magic finding .. not mother f*cking for aliens who havent played this) just for the reason that i usually dun get anything worth getting in my mfing runs.. i did like more than 100+ n i get shit while my friend goes around doing like 6 runs and he gets a dam shako.. and this happened twice. _|_ to d2 on that but i have had 1 experience of luck... this is true and happened in one night lol, i got herald of zakarum from mephisto and 10 mins later i got arachnid mesh belt from mephisto again in a diff run.. i was ecstatic but seriously this was the only luck i had with mfing
the only way i made my riches was through trading pgems(this takes forever)

man dun expect much from a java game like runescape... They had done a great job in creating this game and perhaps, this is probably the best Java game ever created. RS is free.. WoW need money. WoW is more addictive, But Rs is getting better in their 3d graphics

I played WoW and runescape(Member)

This year, when i looked at te Runescape World map, mermories come back, it's darn sweet. I hope i can go back to time and enjoy it.

This very year too, i play WoW with my teacher and friends, I see the world map. ._.". Do quest to level up faster. If you train by killing monster, i take one whole month to got to level 39.

WoW vs Runescape

Good Graphic / 2D/3D Graphic (I love the 2d and hate the 3d.)
Pay money / Free-of-charge

WoW
1. Battlefield
2. Raidings
3. Monster killing
= A waste of money. (Take note that you dun need to fish/mine/etc to earn money in WoW.)

Runescape
1. Wilderness
2. Fishing/Mining (In order to earn money, it is needed for survival.)
3. Monstering
4. Get scam easily
= Good for age 12/13 training.

Why?
------
In Runescape, everything is so freaking slow. LOL. Fishing, Mining, Battling, Running. And as i said, Fishing/Mining is 100% needed for survival, (Poeple will buy it to make armour(with mines) or as "health potions"(Lobster).) It FORCE you to go and either mine or fish. (To earn 300k, it takes me a whole day, during 2D) And by doing this, It's very similar to the real life fishing, very boring. ._. See the screen, click click click.(And i was a member, so i can just keep clicking it and sometimes closing my eyes..[Fishing Guild]). It really trains your patience. You can even have sex in side. (I SAW IT LMAO!) You can had girlfriend inside (I had one.). It is very similar to the "Real Life". And you get scammed easily, it teach you how not to get scammed again. Loyalness, cause there's no "Party." in the "Battlefield AKA Wilderness", you can hit whoever you like, even your best of best friend. I was betrayed. My online friends called me into very deep and luckily, one of my good friend told me "Run. They're going to kill you." And i changed to Members server, which none of them can enter.

The best thing was, last time i level 60+ owning a level 80+ in duels LOL. "THIS GUY HAS 60 ARMOUR! HE TOLD ME HE HAS 40!" the level 80 shouted. (I do only have 40+ that time.) and raiding we have too.. go fight demonic. (Lesser demon ';,,,;' de brother). An inside wilderness, when people higher level come, "RUN RUN RUN!" LMAO!.

When you wanna go battlefield, dun need wait de. You can just press the "Waiting list" and run anywhere. And if got enough people you just teleport in. It's just for plain fun.


Summary:

WoW is for fun.
Runescape is for experience.
