http://www.dotasg.com/images/pi_logo_white.jpgPower Inhouse has been set up as a special platform for those who are looking to play trouble free and slightly competitive games compare to normal public game which are plague with leavers, hackers and bad manner players.
Although, it have been quick active whenever it start but as time goes there are still problem which need to be solve to ensure the continuity. After some internal brainstorming, these are the changes we will be implementing hoping to iron out those issue improving with time the quality of games inhouse.
From now Power Inhouse will have new set of regulations and also a brand new logo. The new inhouse is not for the faint hearted or those looking just for fun casual game. Also if you are lazy or do not like to follow instructions then it is not for you too. No pain no gain.
We will start with the introduction to the new classes and the role of members in the different classes.
Classes
There will be three classes in Power Inhouse, namely the Majors, Captains and Sergeants.
Major: They are the crews from DotaSG who are given power to police the Power Inhouse. These post cannot be applied but are given to only crews to DotaSG only.
Decision made by them are to be followed by all members and should be respectful to them and their work in helping to maintain the order inhouse.
However, they are not immune such that if they abuse their power, as long you have sufficient proof, you can notify me, "DotaSG_PaPa" straight away. Investigation will be made and actions taken will be decided and announce after that.
Captain: This class of members are the only ones who can help vouch for non member to power up as Sergeant. Powered up Sergeants vouch by a particular Captain will be place under line of that Captain. All Captains will be responsible for their line of Sergeant(s). Captains are selected when they meet criteria and also agreed to the following.
Agreed to abide by the "general rules" stated below.
Must have minimum of 100 posts and is actively posting and interacting (constructively)with the community in DotaSG.
Must be able to host game with their exact same DotaSG nick (word by word character by character, symbol by symbol) inside the game.
Must host 1 game min per week.
Must ensure game strictly contain only Power Inhouse members.
Every game when ended, the replay must be uploaded into the game thread they created, if no replay then the screenshot is to be uploaded.
Captains are to ensure their line's Sergeants follow their duty and not to create trouble or inconvenience for fellow inhouse members.
Captains are to ensure they have checked if the candidate that they are vouching have meet the Sergeant criteria and are willing to follow the rules set for the Sergeants.
If any of the above is not agreeable or abide to, that Captain not be selected or will risk removal. A halt to the removal will be considered when there are proper appeals (challenges will not be entertained) made by the Captain. Alternatively, any Sergeants can offer to take over the line by offering to swap role with the Captain. If no further action to appeal the removal or swap role, the Sergeant and his line will be removed. Only one swap is allowed.
Now we come to the good part, the benefits.
You can vouch for 3 Sergeants to join your line at start.
You can request for removal of Sergeant in your line.
You can request for removal of Sergeant in other line.
You will be able to earn some rewards for yourselves or your line members. More on these will be reveal with time and announced later.
Able to accumulate vouch and have 1 new vouch given weekly.
Sergeant: These will be the normal members of inhouse who will be taking part in games and activities inside. Sergeants will only be power up when they have been vouched and approved. To be vouch they must contact the Captains that is willing to do vouching for you. Sergeant once asked for vouch means that they understand and agree to follow the rules and regulation for them.

Must be able to join game with their DotaSG nick (word by word character by character, symbol by symbol) inside the game.

Hosting:Games are to be hosted and posted inside "Power Inhouse" forum section. It can be found under main forum category of ProPowerPlay Zone. Games are to posted in the following method, Start new thread in "Power Inhouse" forum section with thread title like this "IP, Game Name, Mode, Misc Information"

Strictly, no one should made arrangement of game outside inhouse , example like in msn, in irc or any other means. It would defeats the purpose of having Power Inhouse all. Anyone caught initiating or participating at the pretense of inhouse game will be removed without question. I have many eyes and spies around, so please do not try your luck.
Joining: Look on the top right hand column for "Power Inhouse" name box for the latest games hosted by the Captain(s). Quickly click on it and post "I am joining" to reserve a slot, it help to let the Captain hosting to know you will be coming in. Next quickly join the created game.
After you joined a game, in order to prove that you have participated, post a "I am joining/I have joined" to indicate that you have joined the game. This serves two purposes, one is to ensure you are given priority to join this game if there is a dispute, two is to allow us to know if you have made an effort to participate in games created. We will track members' activity using the reply that you have posted. Even if inside the replay or screenshots shows you are in, as long as you do not make an effort to post that you are playing we will not take that into account for your activeness.
Disconnection:If a player disconnected accidentally, then see if the game is saved so everyone can be resumed into the game. However, if any member is suspected to purposely disconnecting, the member will be powered down back to normal DotaSG member. Any member suspecting someone having the habit of disconnecting from game internationally can report the the line's Captain for action to be taken or can escalate the issue by posting a report in the "Discussion and Report" sub forum.
Mannerism: Keeping a pleasant environment is very important in Power Inhouse, thus these although will dampen the "fun" some of you are looking at, but if these are not enforced the level and the quality of game play will never improve. So here are the things to be taken note and strictly followed,
No challenging of authority, if you want to appeal or bring your point across do it in a mature manner.
No usage of vulgar language, even if it's for fun or between friends.
No sarcastic remarks, even if it's for fun or between friends.
No starting of flame or joining in the flame.
No discouraging remarks, if you have nothing good to say keep it to yourself.
Frequent habit of being away from keyboard, especially when on the losing side.
Reporting:Do not keep quiet on undesirable behavior that you see and make you uncomfortable. If you never voice out, no one will know and it will go unnoticed. To help to maintain an peaceful environment inhouse, these are things everyone must step out to do. If not issues will not be solved when goes unreported.
All report are to be done in "Discussion and Report" sub section of "Power Inhouse"forum.
Click forum on the top navigation bar then look for ProPowerPlay category, then find "Power Inhouse" and you will see "Discussion and Report" under it. Post your report or complain in there and best to accompany your report with witness or proof to support your claim.
