anyone can solve the problem of " spike " whenever i played dota.
( 1st - my computer is new. 2nd - my brother's computer *almost the same spec as mine CPU* is perfectly fine. )
Is it something got to do with my connection ? internet card ? virus ? starhub ? or router ?

Call your ISP first. A lot of time it's them. Or if you can off your router to get your IP reset (depends on which isp). Do it. That helps.

Yeah, can try izzy999's solution too. I forget it might be spyware, adware or trojan .
So scan for those with some free to download anti virus or adware scan programs.

ISP = Internet Service Provider
Meaning, Starhub, Singnet, or Pacnet.

i beg to defer.
scan in safe mode lagi best.
ISP wise . unless ur getting disconnections instead of spikes i dun see why it's their fault.
but no harm calling their help desk.

is your wired or wireless connection?
if its wireless then re-position ur router cus there is interference of signal from router to ur com. or alternatively(best) u can connect using a network cable and remove ur wireless setup.
if its wired,
- ensure that your anti virus or any protection programs have allowed WC3 to run.
- run scans to detect and remove the spyware/adware/virus accordingly
- close all downloads(includes other peers in ur network)
- disable auto startup for Steam Engine & download clients such as bittorrent/bitcomet/limewire,etc.
- if u r using battelan. uninstall it and use other client.
if afta doing all these still cannot, call ur ISP and let them have a headache and solve it for u.
