To encourage more to join and tryout our sponsors and us have given our best and up our ante. The prizes pool have increased (with some restructuring) and we have our registration fee reduced with added special promotion for CyberDome's customers and to DotaSG's users. Lastly, the tournament rule will make minor face-lift to make it more participant friendly to make it suitable for all to join. So read on for these changes and goodies.

1st: $600
2nd: $300
3rd: $100 and 4 x Valve game (worth $50 each)
4th: 4 x Valve game (worth $50 each)
5th: 4 x Barracuda Lite 2.0 mousepads (worth $13 each)
6th: 4 x Barracuda Ice MouseFeets (worth $10 each)
7th: 4 x DotaSG voucher (worth $10 each)
8th: 4 x DotaSG voucher (worth $10 each)

To accommodate these changes, we need to give everyone more time. Thus, the event will be postponed to 21st of June, Sunday.The change will give participants 3 more weeks to train up on one your favorite map and Lighthouse. The last map would be only announced during the event. This help to make the even more competitors friendly as now you will have more time and have 2 maps which you team can work on for training.

On registration, good news and more good news. First we decided to make the early bird discount permanent for all at $40 for all team registration. The registration fee is now set at $40 per team.

Special promotion 1, for the first 15 CyberDome customers (usage of 2 hours of L4D gaming) who sign up will get their free 1 for 1 CyberDome vouchers activated for use and another $5 rebate using the given voucher. Which means the registrations for them would be at $35 per team only. Vouchers will given while stocks last.

Special promotion 2, not forgetting our loyal competitive participants, any ProPowerPlay rank members will also also get to enjoy the $5 rebate too. All you have to do is to match your ID particulars to our record when you are making your registration payment. Your team would get to register at the fee of $35 per team too.

To appreciate teams who have already signed for their support in our event, all of them will also get to enjoy the $5 rebate and be given the 1 for 1 CyberDome vouchers. We have your registration record with us, just approach PaPa at the reg counter on the event day to collect your rebate and the vouchers.

We will also put ProPowerPlay ranking system in place for this event, another first for L4D event locally. Participating teams with completed registration will have their rank performance ranked and kept in our database. Participants can check out their performance after every event to find out how they have progress and also to see how they are place among their fellow L4D gamers.

It is extremely important that your registration is done properly and completed as instructed. Before anything else first check your team member's status. Ask them if they are ranked before or not. If ranked, then check if their ProPowerPlay individual point (click here or look for link on top left hand column) are more than 1600 or not. If any of the member of a team is ranked with points above 1600 then the team cannot register under David Category. Thus, when making payment, please indicate your category properly you are joining when asked to leave your details at CyberDome's counter.

just to feedback. i have actually asked some of the l4d teams that i know of to take part in this compy, but most have been telling me, they didnt train survival much, which is why they dowanna take part.

prize pool isnt the problem. but competitive l4d is still very young, and requires lotsa pushing to popularize.


and will the compy still go on coming weekend?
