Hi i just purchased a new mouse Oscar XL-740K. The manual say it doesn't require any drivers and by just pluggin into the usb port it can work. However, my computer can't even detect the mouse.

Under 'Device Manager" it doesn't show any mouse icon too. Can someone help out ?

perharps u can go back to the seller and ask

u should try to go device manager and uninstall ur mouse...
then plug in to the usb port again....

by right usb is plug and play. unless u accidentally uninstalled ur usb port. which happened before when i was servicing one of my customer's pc. where some of his usb couldnt work. u need the usb driver, or perhaps u can ask for help from ur PC seller. probably nt the mouse problem

hi 5 I just purchase exactly the same mouse as yours, and i assume you bought it at the PC show? Well, I don't think it's the mouse problem because in my case I only plug in and it works. just that i have to install the cd in order to configure the buttons in my mouse :D

Yeah, try installing the driver. Sometimes it's compatibility with the generic driver. That should work.

If not, either that the mouse is dead or the usb is.

by right usb mouse no need install any driver to work de. the drivers are for configuring the custom buttons

yes lance is right. you don't need to install any drivers for USB mice. The drivers are IN the mice. If it doesn't detect your mouse, the USB port is dead or uninstalled. Try switching USB ports, or if that doesn't work, reinstall your USB ports.
