Singapore - First, a sincere apology from DotaSG because the event is called off till further notice. We are going back to the drawing board. We had tried out best the last round and used almost off of our creative juice but still we will work harder to find out what went wrong. We appreciate the feedbacks and reflect on our experience this time and hope that if there is any chance that we can come up something that will appeal to majority L4D or even non-L4D players. Ultimately we still have hope and wish for more casual and semi competitive gamers to come out of their comfort zone to participate and experience the excitement and fun of competitive gaming and greatness of this wonderful game. So we are not giving up yet.

Meanwhile, sorry again to those teams who signup, please do head down to CyberDome cybercafe to collect your refund. We will not forget about your support, as if the event is back you all will enjoy the priority to signup and also be offer some goodies. If you have questions, do feel free to pm or email us.

We will survive, Never say Die. So all survivors, we are not leaving you for dead yet.

sigh, so whats new? another cancellation yet again. The teams that went all the way to
cyberdome to make payment now have to go back all the way to cyberdome to collect back their money through no fault of theirs.

Shouldnt Dotasg as the organiser do something about it? Like collect the money and then Ibanking it to the individual leaders? Taking time and spending money on bus and train costs money too, you know.

A friend of mine who stays in the East was apprenhesive about signing up for dotasg tournaments at first as the memory of the previous dota cancellation still haunted him, but he still went ahead anyway despite my advise.

Now he is complaining to anyone who would listen.

lol.

P/S: I hope i don't get warned / banned for giving my opinion, eh? :D

Yup, refund should be done without causing any hassle to the players as they are the ones showing support for the tourney. The last CAPL l4d was canceled too but the refund was made through internet banking.
Also if possible, cancelling of events can be said earlier cos alot of ppl rearrange their work schedule/family outing/gf date/ friends gathering etc just for this event.

To clear up your doubt, if they wish for it to be done by Ibanking, they can request for that to be done. For their support of our event to signup we will be happy to help any team on it.

Can I know what your friend nickname who have signed up and what his team name so I can take the initiative to contact him and help him on it?
