Have not heard of these brand you mentioned here, are they branded comp peripherals?

Roccat is a German gaming peripheral company. Y'know, something like SteelSeries and Razer.
Apparently, Roccat is overpriced, from what I've read in international forums. But I think they have some cool features worth looking at. My razer mouse stopped working beautifully after a few weeks, and my brother and I are sharing headsets sooooo we're both considering getting our own gear at the coming IT show. =DDDD

Prices are currently unavailable for the products they'll be selling at the IT show...=/
Here's the link that I think they will update: http://forums.vr-zone.com/it-show-2010-11-14-mar-suntec/569603-roccat-set-the-rules-it-show.html
This video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Adt4ZTRvVx4&feature=related) is the trailer for the Roccat Kone. However, the lights work like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jyWv-h8A80&feature=related.
I personally prefer the fading-out style of Razer mice, but being able to customize your mouse lights is pretty awesome. Also if I'm not wrong, the Kone is a weighted mouse as shown in here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHEipi3S1IM&feature=related Weighted mice means you can make it heavier or lighter (but some reviews said that the weights would drop out easily if you constantly lift the mouse up to reposition it)

My friend told me that the Kone is going to be around 130 dollars...

Bad news o.o"
The Apuri may not make it to SG shores due to shortage.
Also, the next Roccat shippment is estimated to arrive in July, so if you guys want to get Roccat stuff, should get at the IT show. Apparently, it's coz the allocation of shipments to Asia is very low.
Do keep up with the thread at http://forums.vr-zone.com/it-show-20...s-it-show.html if you're really interested in their products.

Roccat gear looks really awesome. hopefully they would set a store up in singapore. Like a permanent store so we gamers have a wider choice of gear and not just the usual razer/steel series/logitech.

Haha, get Alienware ones. Those who had participated in Alienware Arena @ Funan, I am sure you have touch and feel it. It's a great looker with high tech look and customisable led to many colors combinations and feels good in the hand with it's high tech design.
To find out more, see the Dell promo banner on the right hand column. Click on it and check out Alienware TactX Mouse offerings. Enjoy shopping from comfort of your home.

@Papa: Sure. I went back on Friday to get myself a Siberia V2.
@Somalianboy: Apparently it's because they didn't go advertise much. No flyers (don't want rubbish etc) yeah so it was pretty quiet. I guess only those who know will go.
The Razer booth was right in front at the entrances was really crowed, since a lot of ppl were moving through that area. I was looking to get the Moray but quite shocked at the price >.> (or maybe coz I've been poisoned by Ebay)
~
Peektures of my Siberia V2. Will have peektures of the Kave and Kone soon. Also, at the 1st floor of the halls, there was a booth selling uber huge candy floss. Couldn't resist getting one, and promptly went on a sugar high after eating it.

The V2 and the Mic-mute + volume control

The candy floss - ignore the swirly stuff. I was playing around with the photobucket tools

The Apuri on display - too bad it wasn't in stock

Sorry for the size of the peektures haha.

lol yeah.. there were zero flyers on roccat stuffs. the razer store was totally INSANE. krait and salmosa was sold at around 55 bucks... btw i bought the A4tech XL-755K gaming mouse for 35 bucks with the old/used mouse trade in programm, it was quite cheap considering that the actual price was $70 and i only had to trade in my spoilt acer mouse to purchase it at $35.

@Maya how much was your Siberia V2
MayaArcana
03-14-2010, 04:53 PM
@LackA: Bought it at 169SGD on the 2nd day of the IT show.
My bf and I went there for all 4 days (didn't make a stop at the Roccat booth on Sunday because we both agreed to do sprinting - meaning that we would just rush to get the stuffs we really wanted, then walk 1 big round, and 1 small round, then leave) so yeah, I don't know if it was sold cheaper.
I remember that the Siberia V2 BLACK colour with USB was much more ex at around 195SGD. The Red Siberia was a bit too blood-coloured for me so I picked the white. Black was out of the point as I have only 2 USB ports on my laptop, and both are always occupied with mouse and coolerpad.
Overall, bf and I spent:
Roccat:
Kave - 169
Kone - 129 ( <3 this blinky mouse)
Steelseries:
Siberia V2 - 169
Bagman:
DSLR Pouch (to keep my headset + mouse, not for DSLRs) - 19
**was tempted to get a bag that was 80% discounted, but end up my bf buy for himself and said I could trade my Crumpler if I wanted
Following stuffs bought for friends/family:
WD Elements 500G 2.5" - 115
Brother Ink cartridges - 90.90
Lexmark Ink cartridges - 30.10
Random stuffs bought:
Body Shop - I don't have the receipts but I'm sure my bf and I spent at least 150 coz we went there for 3 days, and each day bought stuffs. We both are suckers for Body Shop stuffs >.>
Total: 872SGD. *goes and eats grass for the next 3 months*
oh and I also spent 12 on an Exactmat Pouch. Well, nearly 900 dollars spent. GG.
And today (Sunday) my bf and I went to look at the Alienware laptops. *wails* POISON I TELL YOU. POSION.
