Number of Teams: 16 Teams of 1 Player.
Prize: $50 + Keyboard & Mouse (Rapture Gaming) + 1v1 Champion Title!
Game Format: All pick and No power-ups. (-apnp)
Tournament Format: 16 teams will be broken down into 4 groups for round robin stage. Top players from each group will proceed to elimination stage.
Game Play: Round Robin
Player 1 vs. Player 2
• Round Robin stages will be played for best of 3.
• A player with either 3 deaths or has his middle lane base tower (3rd tower) down, he/she loses that round.
• The player with the name in front will host the game first. (In this case, Player 1 will host)
• The player on the Scourge side will draft his/her hero first.
• After each round, the player who loses gets to pick if he/she wishes either to host the next round or draft first for the next round.

Point System:
3 Points awarded to a win* over another player.
1 Point awarded to a loss* over another player.
0 Points awarded to a walkover* given to another player.
*These are overall wins or losses to the opponent. This means the results for the best of 3, however, as long as 1 walkover is given, 0 points will be awarded.
Top team from each group will proceed to the Elimination Round.
Game Play: Elimination Round
Player 1 vs. Player 2
• Elimination stages will be played for best of 3.
• A player with either 3 deaths or has his middle lane base tower (3rd tower) down, he/she loses that round.
• The player with the name in front will host the game first. (In this case, Player 1 will host)
• The player on the Scourge side will draft his/her hero first.
• After each round, the player who loses gets to pick if he/she wishes either to host the next round or draft first for the next round.
An overall win will immediately precede player to the next round.
Other rules:
• Players are only allowed to creep, farm and level in the middle lanes.
• Players are allowed to move around to backstab.
• No taking or use of any runes or consumable items (e.g. tango, flask, clarity, etc.).
• There will also be no use of Town Portal Scrolls.
• Any exploits of bugs will result in immediate round loss, game loss or disqualification.
• DotaSG Crew reserves all rights to change or modify the rulings as per situation.
Time Frame:
Players will play the round robin stages in 7 days:
• 31st December 2006 – Match ups will be released
• 1st – 7th January 2007 (Round Robin Stages)
Players will play the elimination stages in 4 days.
• 8th January 2007 – Match ups will be released
• 8th – 9th January 2007(Semi-Finals)
• 10th January 2007 – Match ups will be released
• 10th – 11th January 2007(Finals)
*All results will be posted by 12 noon on the date specified.

Create 4 threads in the forum, each for 1 group. Players will post their replays and scores in their respective groups.
