Looks like the Malaysians are starting to embrace 6.27b as there are a few tourneys held there with that version. This was one in particular that caught my attention because of the prize money which I'm sure will draw out a good mix of strong MY teams.

DOTA Open Challenge on the 14th & 15th January 2006.

64 teams only.

Champion : RM 3,000.00
Runner Up : RM 1,500.00
Third : RM 800.00
Fourth : RM 500.00

Map : 6.27b
Registration fee's : RM 100.00

There's nothing in the rules that says it's only meant for their local teams so how about some SG teams hopping over to check it out. If not for the (roughly)$1400, at least the experience on LAN with the MY teams would be worth it.

Our staff, applecat is from malaysia. Well yes, I have heard many dota competitions are going on across our border ^_^.

actually there are alot more compy's being held in malaysia i heard, small lanshops in each are do hold their own competitions and their turnup figures are rather high too, too bad they are still dominantly 584c but recent 627b competitions will open up more possibilities ... now u noe why zion has so many malaysian 584c games huh

Hmmmm... I juz looked through this again.

Reg. form says 12 + 13 but your post says 14 + 15. When? Weekday and weekend big diff.

Also, must all reg. forms be hand submitted? Cannot go all the way down to submit t.t

Sg dota competition should start to give prizes such as SG$1.5k(MY$3k) hard cash like the malaysian competition =p
