Singapore - This June holiday, we together with our good sponsors have put together yet another installment of our Alienware Arena Tournament preliminary event. DotA and SF4 gamers would have the chance to battle it out to see who be crowned the champion and bring home some attractive prizes. The battle field this time is at Square 2 shopping mall located right outside of Novena MRT station. Come down to witness the intense actions between the competitors and enjoy the live commentary of highlighted game matches. There will be promotions and free play sessions too (Square 2 conditions apply), so join us and be part of this exciting and fun-filled event.
Calling DotA gamers, lend me your ears. Yes, we have heard your voices for the DvG event that you all have badly missed, so here's some good news. This event's criteria for participation is going to be limited to new or ProPowerPlay rank gamers with no more than 1610 points. If you forgot or want to know what's your updated rank and points, click here for the jump to the ranking page (http://www.dotasg.com/index.php?pageid=dota-ranking2). Our ranking is now updated with the latest scoring after our most recent Alienware Arena Tournament in Malaysia. Hope this will encourage more fresh faces to the competitive scene. Also participant have to be PR, Student in Singapore currently or Singaporean to be eligible for participation.
SF4 gamers, you are not forgotten too as the ranking system has not kick in yet, thus it will still be open to all for sign ups.
Do note that seeded participants or team from previous preliminaries cannot rejoin in this tournament unless giving up the seeded spot opportunity. For DotA once any player given up his seeded entitlement, you are not allowed to join back the seeded team after that. Teams who wish to retain seeding have to retain at least 3 members from the original lineup. And team giving up the seeding totally are not allowed to join in subsequent preliminary. For SF4 players who are seeded , they too are not allowed to rejoin in subsequent preliminary.
