International - This is a mega news for the fighting games scene here, amalgamation of two of PaPa's favourite fighting games; Street Fighter and Tekken fans to see their two games being fused into one. Like many other crossover fighting games, this one is another one that fans of both game will come and compete in the same arena. It will be interesting to see game of such different fighting engine being fused into one and play seamlessly without much re-learning or awkwardness.
At Comic Con 2010 in US, Capcom released the teaser for this upcoming title for Xbox360 and PS3. It's not a demo video or what, but a playable game that was actually showcased at the show. So here's the video captured from the show of this new creation.

Looking at the video, the ultra moves looks cool when the partnering character come in together to help execute the ultras in "Rival School" style. Cheers rang out during the showing of the demo indicated the excitement level of those watching it live at the show. The game play seems to be in the 2D style of Street Fighter as observed, however the developer mentioned that it might actually play like the 3D style of Tekken. No matter how it will be play one way or another, adopting the fighting engine of either of these two most well received fighting game will make it a winner anyway. Now the thing to ponder is that will the Street Fighter character get tonnes of moves like all of the Tekken characters and what will be the button scheme, will it be Street Fighter style or Tekken Style. Really, can't wait to find out anymore.
And here's an extract from Kotaku about their report from Comic Con,
Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono had his "Street Fighter IV and Beyond" panel interrupted by Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada today, with the rival fighting game makers joining together to announce two Street Fighter versus Tekken collaborations.
Street Fighter X Tekken was introduced with a teaser trailer featuring Street Fighter's Ryu facing down Tekken's Kazuya Mishima in a pre-rendered sneak peek presented in Street Fighter IV's sketchy, inky visual style. The game, pronounced "Street Fighter cross Tekken" will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Following the announcement, Ono surprised the crowd by holding up a Blu-ray disc with a copy of the game, then provided attendees with a live, playable demo.
