International - Over the same weekend at Gamecom 2011, IEM's StarCraft 2 tournament along with LOL tournament was another event highlights which have a good share of gamers following too. Visitors to Gamescom gathered in front of their stage to catch the top-notch matches played out in front of them live are treated to amazing performances from the competitors. At the end of the event as many have predicted, Korean breed players were dominating the finals. Puma (Protoss) and MC(Terran) both from Korea faced off in the final rounds of the StarCraft 2 tournament, one representing his new team now, Team Evil Genius (EG) and the other representing his home country's team, oGs respectively.
MC is extremely well known power Protoss player, if not the most fearsome Protoss in GSL; He is so good at this race that he had gained godlike status and worldwide stardom. He never fails to put up a show for all his fans and followers. As for Puma, due to his impressive achievement in the previous NASL series he was headhunted from team TSL of Korea by EG to jump over to their side, which in turn created a little storm due to some miscommunication. With players of such amazing skills and interesting back story, without a doubt it's interesting to watch who will prevail over the others.

At the end of the best of 5 finals, Puma devastated MC in three straight games and hence was declared at the latest champion of IEM's StarCraft 2 tournament.
