1) Team Zenith - This team need no introduction. They were previously known as mVp. Despite recent dip in form they are still consider one of the best clan in SG/Asia or even on Earth. Changes in roster might have affected their performance in recent compys, but once the team gel im sure they will be back with a bang.

2) Clan xqR-WeCookGrass - Burst into the the dota scene after 2005 WCG ended. The players back than were relatively unknown as they were all fresh faces. But after strings of fine performance they caught the eyes of one of the best CounterStrike clan in Singapore ExsequoR and thus they become the team for xqR dota division. Gotten 4th placing in recent HQ 2007 compy and was Champs of WGT that was hosted sometimes back which invole top teams like dN*and mi2.

3) Clan rev0lt - They are a long standing team since dota 5.84c. Back in those days they were one of the few teams that can rival ex mVp , dN* and DsD. After fading away from the dota scene during the early years of 2006 many people have already forget thier existence. But their recent performance in compys is nothing less then impressive. Even with roster changes they managed to emerge top in both 2005 and 2007 HQ dota compy, 3rd placing in DotA League Season 3 and Canberra CC DOTA tournament as 1st runner-up. Hope they can continue with this rich vein of forms. I was soo gonna rank them in 2nd place actually.

4) Team darkNess - Argh! i hate this team since 5.84c. I have personally play against this team in the past for at least 15 times and i think we almost lost 12 of them. This team struck fear in the heart of many and were always consider the team to be avoid. One thing i have notice about them is the stubbornness in their drafting. They tend to stick to "old school" heros that were effective since 5.84c but DotA have evolved and we are playing version 6.40 now. Some innovation please! Well...that might be the reason that since late 2006 to now their performance have been dropping. Hope they can build on their recent success of 2nd placing in CAPL Elite and im sure people will hate playing against them again.

5) Team Ipod/eMo - This team is one hell of a blackhorse. They seems to perform really well against the top team and look sub par against well sub par team.
I dont really know much about this team...but i guess it is the team that WaN/TeA are in and they are great individual players that i heard before. Coming in 1st for CAPL Elite really mean something and 2rd placing in 2007 HQ compys as well.

6) Team Geminga/Wrath - I know even lesser about this team. They seems to have a lot of roster changes going on. Despite that they claim first place in CAPL premier catagory. 2nd placing in DotA League Season 3 losing to...well you guessed it. Zenith! This team seems to have pretty innovative drafting and lots of pontential. The reason behind it might be that this team is actually make up of a lot of standard Ladder game players. not sure though if im wrong if im tell me i will edit away this part.

7) Team Micronology - Their best showing was during the GXL lan finals. Their absurd winning run to the finals only came to a halt after they were held by Zenith. They once again make their mark in the Canberra CC tournament when they were crowned as champion. That tournament boasted almost all the team in this top 8 list which make this achievement even more impressive. Dot-Rk was quickly snap up by this team after impressive performance for team Mi2 during ACG after they were disband. Recent HQ/CAPL Elite compys saw them crash out during the early stages but i hope that they can pickup from where they left and impress again.

8) Team -Nightmare- - I guess previously they were known as -DreamZ-. Another long standing clan since 5.84c days. Dint win much compys nowadays but always in the reckon of top 8. Gotten 3rd placing for WGT. Something worth mentioning is that they knock out Zenith on the way. Also 3rd and 4th placing in CAPL Premier and Elite respectively. By the way their players have a problem of getting disconnected in CAPL games. Seems like another black horse team for me.
