Veno as a Late Gamer

I was playing a draft recently and I was surprised the opponent laned veno and loa in a lane. The veno did surprisingly well and farmed bot/sny/mjollinir/lothars/blink/aghanim.

Veno has always been a catcher and engager, just wondering anyone thought of using him as a late? The user was a very very gosu farmer..

veno is gd catcher early game.. if u can capitalize on it and farm gosu at the same time then good

dun use veno to catch early game abit wasted unless all lanes can control

yea. sometimes i really dun understand why such heroes must be catcher. i mean he is a very good late gamer from what i see. gay skills like nova, ss and sting. so gay..

damn..that veno is too well-fed which mostly going to explain why you all lose to him.

Veno is one the best aoe damage over time hero in the lineup.
Nova deal imba lot of damage over time and if not counter,half of the opposite is going to be reduced to half life.

Veno imo only make a decent carrier.
The fact that many other heroes make a better carrier already take veno out of the carrier role(eg.Bone,Razor,drow).

We won that match though and the LOA was really uber support. But the speed of the veno's farming is really amazing. When we are about to go gank him, he'll just lothars/blink away and bot somewhere. He places mjollinir as the first orb effect and sny as second.

Very very strong. Yeah he's not the best carrier but it's the first time I see a veno carries the team I guess.
