Shadow Fiend can cie Warlock

I try with the mastery and shadowraze build. The new 6.40 shadow word pain not really as pain as last time liao. Can tahan with tangos and ring. When you level 7, can really hurt warlock with some aggro play. I think it's better than viper for middle lane.

I'm expecting to see Shadow Fiend returning to middle lane or maybe as a tag. Dunno what you guys think.

I highly doubt Shadow Fiend can handle Warlock alone.Perharp i underestimate nevermore,but i personally find is kind of hard for a nevermore to win warlock.
Maybe they could be on par.

First of all,
nevermore have base life of 625hp at level 6.
it only have 500 range as compared to warlock's 600
With tango and regen,it very possible to survive warlock's nukes and out farm him.
However,if warlock decide to get lot of clarity potions ,mana regen and tango spam those shadow words as soon as cooldown is finish(24s) it could mean shadow fiend being held back and not able to farm.

Mathcraft:
At lvl 3,nevermore have 511 base hp
By level 3,warlock should have level 2 shadow word = 128 original damage
Assuming both farming in first 10min(including first minute of waiting time)
In 10min,warlock would have casted around 20 nukes in this duration.
Total damage deal would be near around 3-4k.Now have fun imagining the tango you need to survive.

I say it would be a battle of skill for both as both will be spamming lots of tango to survive and outwit opponent.
Of course having two heroes against warlock will spell dead for him.(being heavily denied of gold and experience)

quite disagree. i qie b4. if u kept him under control wif ur spammings. he will easily fall. besides u will out level him. anyway if i play sf. there will be a runner to control abit of wl. after i am higher lvl than warlock . warlock is some sort of under my control.

You can easily outdeny warlock one, so his shadow word will be at lower level. Use shadowraze when its level 3 like that to keep warlock health controlled. Best is he cast shadow word on himself. The main thing is still the farming, if your team mate help ka jiao and warlock get taken down, sf got good advantage.

According to King4Hao, if a very well-trained SF and well-trained warlock were to be placed together, i'd still say the SF would win, even getting mass clarities and tangos, you didnt mention about SF's shadowcraze, as i said, well-trained SF, you expect him to see all three shadowcraze to be on target, and you said lvl3, so shadowcraze 150 damage? 150x3=450 , not much but it could be pain to warlock already.

Warlock casts SW.
SF cast three shadowcraze [ Assuming all on target ]

Warlock would be the one in pain.

Edit : Also in battle, SF's skill has 10sec cooldown each, warlock's has 24sec.
Wl : 128 dmg
SF : 450dmg

Yeah, even if the warlock goes defensive, SF will farm better. If both sides are equally good, SF will have an advantage cause of the necromastery. More damage makes micro-ing easier.

obviously, when we compare heroes, we assume that both parties have equal skills. i'ld say wl will win, if both are average players, until sf is good enough to raze properly. by level 5, i'm sure sf can outfarm wl. however, at 6, if wl still dont argo with sf, there'll be a very chance where sf is imbal at late game. wl at 6 imo is one of the most imbal hero, with exception of enchantress bane viper and enigma.

for the 20 words, i think your maths craft has SERIOUS problem. mid start at 2:00, left with 8 mins. take for instance if wl has unlimited mana, he keep casting word to sf. but can he cast non stop? immediately after cd is up, or 2 seconds later. even if he can, sf would just X if he come, C if he backs. did you not forget HP regen? theres no necessary for tangoes until lvl 3 or 4, unless wl is super argo. if he is, then you'll get to outfarm him. and if the sf abuses his raze properly, wl will word himself to ensure not to feed. if he doesnt, he die, and sf controls mid. half a gg. yeah just theories. i never knew sf is taken out from draft in the first place, let alone coming back. i always see sf taken in draft. for the new strategies, let the top clans think about it, them and their imbal experiences -_-

It's not really much of the heros. It's the player and the play style. Because both warlock can take sf and sf can take warlock. If you see good solo mid players you will know why.
