5 vs 5 Scrim / Clan Match both sides (Team hi2u)

Hello my name is Nightmare and ive always wonderd what the asian seen in Dota was about so i wanna get some scrims for the Team i manage

Also if u wanna know my history and why this should be a good game im the Head Admin for IHCS...

Just recently got GGC to work! Yay! might drop by IHCS though I'm currently unvouched in IHCS2.

I think some host testing is needed though. So far playing on GGC, I don't have enough experience to say this but generally American hosts are much better for us. Hitomi's (add extra !s and 0s where neccessary) host was generally the best experience any of us from SG ever got from a GGC host, and I think Russians had quite tolerable delay too. European hosts generally have variable delay, but only the best are match-tolerable. Most of everything else is tolerable for IHCS2 but definitely not good enough to play a match with.

I tried a few random SG people to play a mix against I think it was an MYM host (perhaps I might be generalising and assuming MYM people come from the same area). Lag was tolerable but not fit for matches. I also tried against WE], and it was completely unplayable.

I don't actually know which clan comes from where ^^ but so far from limited scrim experience on QuakeNet most of the teams looking seem to be European (perhaps it's just timezone differences).

So all in all... I think some SG clans might be interested but first we need to know where the clans are from and test hosting a bit. Is there any way I can contact you via IRC?

Scrim means friendly/training matching. It's a term commonly used by CS players when asking for a friendly match with fellow CS clan/team.

We playing the standard -lm 1-2-2-2-2-1 and if both games tied and teams have time we play ap draft...

As for times we play we play from about 7 pm - 2 am pacific time zone

Just tested a game with hi2u.Night as host. Delay is present, but only around the very good bnet kind, less than half a second. By 10 minutes I didn't even notice the delay at all.

The replay is a game created on GGC, Brazillian pub, and the only thing you'll learn from it is how to feed badly. The replay however, should be enough evidence to show that the conditions are quite match-friendly, though split-second attack animation cancelling might be a little more difficult, but I do manage to AAC in the replay.

Highly reccomend anyone with a good team to try to scrim through GGC. I believe many of the Zenith and Micronology players can vouch for the standard of players and the good delay in GGC.

As a side note, those players confident of their skills should try to get into IHCS on quakenet. There should be a thread by poddy in dotasg forums here about that.
