Mages getting bracers

I've seen lately some people like to get bracer for their intel heroes. What do you all think? Is the additional strength early game more important than saving up for late game items for mages?

lets just say if u are buying a null, its just a trade between life or mana, see which one u need more, pugna doesnt have serious mana issues so health can help.

hmm... for me, have to see which char... usually str char i will take bracers... but intel? i think nulls is good enuff le...

for my luna, i play like an intel so nulls is a must... for dwarven, in 5v5, i take only a boots and thats it becoz i have a different strat for my dwarven as compared to most ppl...

for luna, why nulls becoz u need to eclipse and drop one more extra beam to totally kill the hero if 4 beams cant kill him at lvl 1 eclipse. so... hmmm... depends alot lar... really...

Actually. I think its correct. Wraith Band isnt worth it. a bracer is better. just one will do. unless the situation is really bad.

I used to think that Nulls are for Int heroes; Bands for Agi heroes etc., but recently i found that a Null or two on Pudge works really well if you have a RoH. It enables you to assassinate at least 2 heroes before going back to heal. I usually just go for clarities though, its cheaper. Some mages like Pugna/Rhasta desperately need the HP boost so i think the bracers are conceivable :)

wraith is not totally useless... based on situations, sometimes m sniper do take wraith bands.... wraith works better on heroes like TB and AM.... they boost their speed....

my dwarven in 5v5 takes just boots and out of the house he goes...

lvl 3 - TA
lvl 4 - stats
lvl 5 - TA
lvl 6 - Assasinate
lvl 7 - TA
lvl 8 - stats
lvl 9 - Scatter Shot (lately i testing out if headshot would be better)
lvl 10 - SS
lvl 11 - Assasinate
lvl 12 - SS
lvl 13 - SS
lvl 14 - SS
lvl 15 - stats
lvl 16 - Assasinate
lvl 17 - HS
lvl 18 - Stats
lvl 19 - HS

and so on and so forth, alternating HS and stats til max lvl...

usually if i did well and didn't die, by lvl 10 or 11, i wouls have gotten my basher and working towards butterfly with quarterstaff already.

have to admit, dwarven with basher and quarterstaff and treads can own quite a number of ppl...

but lately i trying to test out possibility of HS at lvl 9 instead of SS... seems to work quite well too... so my conclusion, dwarven have alot alot of diff types... mine is definitely speed built.... :p

I would disagree with nukers getting bracers.. example. Lion - Demon Witch i found it lacking of mana points even with two null which give the disadvantage of targetting only 1 hero at a time..

Using of Bracer, Null or Wraith are very subjective. It really depends on situation, it does not neccessary means that intelligent heroes need null, strength need bracer or agililty need wraith.

It all depends on how you want your hero to be or to do.

The equation is simple.

Null - for hero who needed that extra mana to spam spells
Bracer - for hero who needed that extra oomph when bashing creeps and opponent's hero.
Wraith - for hero who needed that extra boost in firing/attacking rate.

Of cause, if the item used can match up with your hero type it will be the best as you can enjoy the bonus benifit.

Hime: interesting sniper build ... but early game you wouldnt be packing a punch compared to a HS sniper, not to mention the headshots can cause serious poking pain (and farming ease) ... but a scatter sniper is good in a shared lane.

coz HS got extra damage... but early game with stats i can achieve almost the same damage HS adds and on top of that, i gain HP which is crucial for dwarven in the early to mid game...

stats would be the better choice to keep me alive abit longer and give me more attack speed....

If you feel that you are an easy target because of low hp, get 2 bracers. I usually get some for Pugna.

i almost never get nulls, maybe cause i'm not spamming enough.. lol. i usually get bracers for heroes who will take much hits(low hp melee, really low hp slow pple etc) and wraith bands for agi heroes.

I find bracers or nulls to be a waste on int heroes.. usually I get a point booster instead, cost around the same price and can upgrade later into scepter also..

well for me, bracers are a must for every hero.
unless i'm playing heros like weaver, and when i'm in a more confident state of not dieing.
for nukers, the help of nulls are pretty insignificant. euls and void stones are a much better alternative.
for str heros, they need the str/health to make them even thicker. and they don't really need that much mana. so the little mana a bracer gives would prove sufficent.
then again, it's up to you to choose.

Ive always played my heroes with wraiths. The agi gain helps a bit in ur armor, thus u take less damage. Deosnt factor much against other agis or strs. Comes into factor when ur facing nukers though. My viper and jugg is mostly played with 3 wraiths, since my builds are totally different from the conventional.

bracers are great stuffs for mage early - mid game
Every bracer give 114 hp
and this 114hp can help the mage to survive longer with various nuke

Even late game,bracer are also useful for mage as well

Mages have low health but they like to spam. Having to spam means having to be on the frontline for most heros like Lina and Luna. However, everytime they walk to the frontline and back, their health is sure to have taken a toll so they will encounter difficulties for sure. if they have bracer, they have increased speed, health and mana, So why not? Although Null is always much better, Mages have relatively low lifes so I wouldn't advice mages to tank damages without bracers. That little bitof money spent could really help you to farm and harrass enemies so why not? with increased stats, your hero performs better. no harm, done.

Maybe you could try getting lothar 1st. I agree with ur skill build but in terms or item build a lothar would ensure that u dun die as ppl will not usually buy gem or wards to counter lothar and also lothar adds agility =) Snipe has really low hp and also runs kinda slow if compared to a chasing night stalker at night or a shapeshifted lycan... also... lothar will not be affected if u got silence etc. cheers! =) and do u guys prefer nerubian with nulls or bracers?

That is quite a neccessity cause RK's mana is freaking low. 1 storm bolt and its drained. Same goes for many other strenght heros like Tidehunter too.

However, Wraith bands are not worth the money. That's why the price was lowered. No one uses wraith band nowadays. Null for More mana, Bracer for more life, wraith for more speed, but there's hardly any differenve for agi heros!

y becuse in early game the most important things are HP and mana. when the game goes on to late u are better off with attack spped and damage. so i can see no neeed for wraiths. 1 wraith gives 6 aglity that means 6 % increase attack speed, u are better of getting treads or the hand of midas.

bracers are the best
considering they give quite a fair bit of hp. however for intel heros getting Aghims specter, it would be better to buy a vit booster straight up. vanguard gives more hp per $ then bracers, so i only buy 1 or 2 bracers for heros that dont require vanguard. for example sniper since he is not supposed to be near creeps.

get nulls depending on situation. For strength spammers like tinny and earth shaker, 1 or 2 nulls are good, tiny can do the stunt, toss stunt combo, and earth shaker can do the E, C, F combo.

this guys save for euls as the 1st items next to boots, so nulls/bracers are not really needed.
