Yo waddup dotasg, long time neva post anything... so i hope you all will find this guide interesting. It all started one day during an inhse game and i couldnt deceide what hero to use. The time already 1min 20 sec so die die must choose so i -random =X and lo n behold, tio Faceless. My 1st reaction was like... "hmm fv, neva use for dam long." But nonetheless i managed to obtain a godlike streak by using a basic build that slowly builds up Darkterror into a insane killing machine...
This is my item build
1) 6 Tango, gauntlet, 2 ironwood
2) Mask of Death -- Mask of Madness
3) Boots -- Power Treads
4) 2 Bracers
5) Eaglehorn -- Butterfly
6) Demon Edge -- MKB (Sell one bracer)
7) ?? (Anything goes from here)
I always have one TP scroll in my inventory. Its very good to have one espescially when running away from heros. Once you walk into a safe position just teleport yourself home...
This is how i pump my skills...
1) lvl 1 Walk
2) lvl 1 Bash
3) lvl 2 Bash
4) lvl 2 Walk
5) lvl 3 Bash
6) Chrono 1
7) lvl 4 Bash
8) lvl 1 Backtrack
9) lvl 2 Backtrack
10) lvl 3 Walk
11) Chrono 2
12) lvl 3 Backtrack
13) lvl 4 Backtrack
14) lvl 4 Walk
15) stats
16) Chrono 3
17-25) Stats
At the starting i pump bash alot because fv can get his mom by lvl 7-8 if he last hits properly. Its quite easy to last hit though cos his base dmg is alot. So if you're lvl 7, with lvl 4 bash and with a MOM in your inventory, (intell or agile) heros with 1/2-3/4 health would be easy for you to finish off. On your MOM while walking towards the hero and instantly walk to him. Be sure not to on your MOM while you're too far cause u'll need every second of it. Once you grab a couple of hits the hero would start to react to your sudden intrusion, u must den put up the chrono immediatly. Always put the chrono's mid point on the hero cause it has a 0.5sec casting time. The hero will most probably die as long as you get 3 or more bash hits in. I learn the walk to lvl 2 at the start to give some space for Backtrack. Early game backtrack is very good espescially against spells like SS, Doom and Epicepter cos it might help you dodge a pulse here and there. Once you get the basic build up consisting of Treads, MOM and 2 bracers, you will more or less find it rather easy to pick off the weaker support heros once you have them trapped in your chrono. From then on its just a matter of farming and killing which would lead you to your main items of butterfly and MKB. Once thats up, you should be able to pick off any hero (even at full health) as long as you have your lvl 3 chrono armed and ready to go. Another thing about getting MOM is that its very good for farming NCs. They dont do much damage to you and you can farm till your hearts content thanks to life steal. Any enemy hero tries to kp? Just walk through some trees and you're safe. :) I've posted some replays of some inhse and draft matches. Trust me, using Faceless Void in matches is very fun, but it can be frustrating some times when you're up against heros like Bane and Doom. One particular replay had a Doom, Bane, SS and a Beastmaster, all 4 are insane disablers, but alas, Faceless Void will prevail over them as long as you can time you're entry in battle clashes. Hope u will enjoy the replays, the main one was played at Egames' training room and was the most intense of all the other replays... this is Knight signing off.

(I'm having some trouble attaching the replays. Each time it starts to upload it would say server not found. Must have tried it 10 times before I gave up. Either that or the server keeps logging me out while i'm uploading... Whats wrong, Dotasg Admin? In the mean time, those who wan the replays just gimme a shout and i'll prolly send it to u on msn or smth...)
