As what many of you guys here already know, Ice recently moved to Kingsurf from Zenith. DotaSg managed to catch up with the parties involved to find out whats going on.
Zenith’s Version – By Tofuboi, Mike and Bouncy
According to Tofuboi, Ice left Zenith the first time somewhere in December 2007 to form Team Jujuju. However, when he realized that Jujuju wouldn’t work out, he requested to rejoin back Zenith.
When asked why he left Zenith in the first place to form Jujuju, Mike said that he wasn't committed to the team and didn't really want sponsorship. “He trained with us a total of 0 times, or maybe 1. However, he played with his juju team countless times, choosing juju over us. Therefore, the rest of the team discussed, and decided it was best for him to leave the team.”
When Ice was out of Zenith, they already had a few players in mind who has been training regularly with them to fill the last slot. However when Ice requested to rejoin the team, a serious discussion took place. The rest of the Zenith members discussed whether they should take him back or not, as they were afraid deja vu would happen again. However, after all the promises and commitments made, Zenith decided to take him back.
One of the promises made was to train regularly with them and to never leave the team again. However in the end, he trained less than 3 times, maybe 3 times in total with Zenith.
DotaSg: Did Ice inform the team before hand in advance about joining Ks for the Malaysia Competition?
Tofuboi: Some arguments were had when Ice asked if he could join Ks for the Malaysia tournament, but in the end we gave him the clearance to go ahead. The next thing he asked was whether he could join Ks for any competitions in Malaysia that doesn’t include Zenith. Another discussion was held, and in the end we relented as well.
Ice also promised the team that if ever Zenith and Ks played in the same competition, he will definitely play for Zenith. However, after he participated and won the tournament with Ks, he dropped Tofu a SMS saying he wanted to join Ks.
DotaSg: How will you guys cope now that Ice has left? Has a replacement been found?
Tofuboi: A replacement has already been found.
DotaSg: Any last words you would like to say to Ice?
DotaSg: Hi Ice, thanks for taking the time to do this interview. Would you like to share with us why you moved to Ks?
Ice: Nothing much, just prefer them more than Micro-Zenith. That was my initial decision but i wanted to win wcg(need at least pr to play wcg if you play for foreign countries) so i went along with Zenith.
Ice: However We had some disagreements (with zenith) and ks was being persuasive; and after playing Cyberstar compy with the Ks people, it doesnt seems to be unrealistic anymore to travel up and down often.
DotaSg: So how do you guys train together?
Ice: We train together on GGC.
DotaSg: What is your relationship with Zenith now that you have moved to Ks?
Ice: I still treat them as friends.
We wish Ice all the best in his future endeavours with Ks.
ice is traitor...he betray old zenith...betray new zenith...betray our country singapore and go to malaysia! he go to ks bcos ks is stronger so that he can win more..T_T..

=.= he doesnt feel committed to the team, so y shuld he force himself to stay on?
a break was inevitable, it was just a matter of time. instead of wasting ur time to point ur finger at ice, y not wish him luck for his future?
u tell me. how many SG singers has gone to Taiwan for their debut? the changes from zenith has definitely disappointed ice and thus, triggering a break from them.
its no ones fault. its only fair if the fittest survives. u cant win if u dun like ur team. maybe its like wad some say (and wad i tink too), dat the current zenith now doesnt have the edge as its peak 1 and a half year ago, but nevertheless, its still not a team to be reckoned wif. zenith may very be back into their unbeatable form not far from now.
to sum it all up, stop blaming ice. he is my favourite player and will stay dat way. good luck to wherever he goes. ANYONE FOR KS AS WORLD NO.1??
-.-'' its like poaching the best from the SG community...
And I don't see why zenith can't simply accept ice back. Its not like not training has reduced his skill level to that of an ordinary player. Personally, as many would agree he is still Singapore's best and I think that warrants for something at the very lease a place in Singapore's top team. Just my opinion (: Nothing meant.
