War Heroes : Online DotA Tournament is the latest online gaming tournament on the scene. The game being played is Defence of the Ancients (DotA), a strategy game where teams of 5 players each try to outwit and out muscle each other. Look no further for some intense DotA action as a maximum of 128 teams battle it out to win a total of $3000 in cash as well as attractive product prizes. It is open to all players from South Asia, and is organized by DotaSG with the support of MSI, Intel, Razer and Cooler Master.

Teams will be random drafted into mini league groups where they will play against each other to determine the winner of each group. These winners will then proceed to the knock-out stages of the tournament, where an intense battle is bound to ensue as teams get closer to winning the attractive prizes as well as the inaugural title of Champions of MSI War Heroes.

Yes you need accounts with both, then enter your Garena username into your User CP. Just log in then you can see the User CP option, click on in and fill in the neccessary details.

Are players from Cambodia allowed? Considering that it is quite close to the countries listed.

Total of 128 maximum slots will be opened to participants eligible from the following South Asia countries, Lao, Thailand, Mymmar, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Phillipines, PaPua New Guinea, East Timor and Indonesia. Teams are allow to mix player from these regions.

There won't be any host bots provided for the group stages for sure, but we will see what we can do to make it as fair as possible for all.

The tournament is only open to players from the countries listed. We will make an announcement if additional countries are added to the list, so do check often for updates.
